If you still into "learning programing php" my adivice for you is: "Have a bunch of Patience, Trial, Error ==> SUCCESS!!!"
Is very frustrating when you get started but in the process of learning programing php you'll discover those small victories are quite rewarding. :D

I can recommend http://www.lynda.com/

I advice you to start with udemy courses , Because lessons are explained in a good way with high quality
thene try to devolop your self
i wish this words help you
Thanks

Udemy courses are good but you have to find a decent course there. Not a lot of good options are out there frm what I have seen. In such case I'd recommend going for the youtube. You can find plenty of good content there. You can also take Lynda.com as an option for the courses. They seem to have some decent PHP courses. I don't see any good course on pluralsight and the other site. Codecademy is worth checking too.

How would I go about learning PHP? I know you need have good maths to learn this coding language and I am studying maths at the moment. Are they good useful tutorials/websites you would help me learn PHP?

How long does it take you learn CSS, PHP C++ and all of the coding languages to be a computer programmer and get a good job in the IT Industry? Thank you!

Have you ever programmed in scratch before? You can make short animations in this program. Do you like the software?

I can't say anything about the job. But the learning pat seems to be good enough for getting you off the ground., You can see that learning is not going to be that easy. And the amount of time it takes for learning the php it is not going to be easy either. So on that point I'd say that you should start with simple language and then build yourself on that part. I guess for each one of us thigns could be a little different as well.

I'm interested to know how much time took each and everyone of you guys to learn the basics of programming php... o_O

The time it needs to learn php programming and other scripting language will be based upon the determination and the amount of time a person can commit learning it. Fast understanding of the concept of the language is really a big factor. Prior knowledge in other programming/scripting language also helps to learn php programming in a shorter period of time. If you could commit long hours of daily practice learning the basics of php, I think within a month you'll have a good grasp of php. I couldn't remember how much it took for me to learn the basics of php. The bottom-line here is, it depends on your willingness to learn because along the process sometimes you'll get bored and frustrated. You need strong motivation to push you forward.

If you are studying computer science, good mathematics skill could really be a good help. Not only mathematics actually, but also good analytical and logical thinking, and problem solving ability especially if you are going to create complex computer programs.

If you are going to learn PHP, partly you need mathematics, partly not, depends on what application you are going to build.

Becoming a computer programmer to get a good job in IT industry doesn't need to learn all the coding languages. If you can do it, then probably that would be great for you. Knowing to create programs in many programming languages gives you lots of opportunities in IT world.

But if you are just getting started to learn, you must decide what particular programming language you're going to start with.

The programming language of choice might be based on what program do you want to create and what you are targeting in the job market place.

If you want to work as a web developer/web programmer, you probably need to start with HTML and followed by CSS. Then if you want your website to be dynamic and interactive you need to learn javascript/jquery. This allows you to perform different events like clicking or pressing keys. You could also do animation and even games on your website. There are other different scripting language and libraries aside from javascript/jquery that you can use. But having javascript knowledge will help your website interactive.

When it comes to accessing database, there are other scripting languages that you can use. PHP, Python, ASP in its MVC feature (using C#, VB, C++), and Ruby are just some them. It is a great advantage to have 2 or 3 programming languages that you are knowledgeable and that you can really create big programs.

But I suggest when learning programming, study one at time. Build a solid foundation first on that language that you are studying before migrating to another language. But if you could learn all at the same time, then that is really good for you.

For me learning to program could also be faster if there's someone that could teach you personally or by watching videos rather than just reading from the books or from the internet.

Good luck!!!
