Where do I start? I want to go into programming

There are many free courses at Udemy as well. You can search for the programming language you plan to start with, and filter it by "free" courses.

I just discovered this Google's Grasshopper - a coding app for beginner. I haven't try it out, but it looks fun. It might make the beginner to start coding in a more interesting way.

Check YouTube there are lots of tutorial there on programming. I'm more interested in article writing and academic writing and I'm getting a lot of lessons from YouTube too.

actually , his question was what should he start learning first , more like , which language he should start with , i suggest you to start with Visual Basic

You can select a programming language that you really want to try out or get into... after that try looking for websites and videos that explain the syntax of that language, after you have learned enough try writing code by yourself and testing programs out, good luck!

you need to choose what you want to program firs
mobile apps or sites or softwares
everyone of those field have different programming language
decide and search on google you will find where you start

Can i be able to get a full time job after finishing learning from there? I am asking because i really need to learm programming as soon as possible ooo
I started with a app called programming hub it's about 30-40 a year for full access they are always adding courses if you want to go the free way then it depends on what you want to learn

Www.learn-js.org on this one you can learn more than just javascript

Maybe not. Currently, most companies are looking for progammers with decent portfolio and several years of experience, so you gotta build up your rep first through freelancing.

Programming can be learned on video sites like YouTube, you can also attend a good computer programming school and learn it, wish you good luck

Programming is a very wide aspect of computer science, it's best to start learning from the basics, there are a lot of videos on YouTube and you can as well buy courses on udemy to self teach yourself

I will advise you enrol in computer programming school in order to quickly hit your target. Meanwhile your passion can also push you forward if you can devote your time to get videos and learn to practise what you view especially if you are starting with low level language like q-basic or visual basic.

I love your motivation that's a really good point to start any field.
I suggest you take the Udemy or Coursera courses, you can also watch some videos from Youtube.
And the important point is to organize your time because programming is a really huge field.

If you want to learn programming then go for C language course for free on YouTube,as it will build a foundation stone for your journey ahead!

There are dozens of free programming courses of different programming languages available on the internet and we can start from that!

If you want to start with programming first of all u need to know the HTML and then find your path if you wsnt to create app go learn java and kotlin or if you want to creatvwebsite learn html css javascript php and mysql

In my opinion, if you want to make immediate Graphical stuff, then start with web development. You can learn HTML, CSS, and JS on Free Code Camp. There are also other sites like codecademy. But I would recommend you to use Free Code Camp. If you don't like this way of learning then there are also tons of youtube videos out there to help you. Just search "Learn Web Development" or "Learn HTML and CSS". A YouTube channel I would recommend is the Net Ninja.

If you want to make computer programs then start with Java. However, it is not really easy and TBH I also haven't learned java yet.
If you want something easier, then start learning Python.

There are free courses available on Youtube. I would suggest, first learn basics on youtube, and if you think the language is right for you, then buy a course on Udemy or somewhere.
