I really love reading and I presently have so many old books which I would love to sell and buy new ones from the money that I receive. I am thinking about online selling. My friend suggested a website but however he never sold any books over there. I think he bought a couple of books from there. I have been searching for another website over the last few days but didn't come across one that I can trust. I really want to sell those books and acquire new ones. Have you ever tried to sell any of your books online? Which websites did you use to do so?

If it a text hook you can try bookscouter.com.this site accepts textbooks for sale but you can contact them and discuss your kind of book with them probably it might be what they sell on there.

i think the best way you can sell your book is to create a facebook page and upload all your books or you can try olx for selling it, there are so many people or netizens who likes to view on that site.
Creating a facebook may not work cos people buying books online prefer buying from reputable stores online and as a new writer it is not advisable to start with facebook rather sites like OLK, eBay, amazon Kindle publishing etc

I do not have any experience with selling physical items online. I have sold ebooks but not sold any physical books. However, I believe you can sell physical books through ebay. The ebay is a great place for buying and selling. I know many peple who are making money by selling various things on ebay. You can also try Amazon.

The only problem with selling books through eBay is the cost of postage when a person purchases them outside your area. Howevre, there i a company in the UK that is called WeBuyBook.co.uk that has an app that you can install on your phone. In the app you will scan the ISBN code or barcode of the book. The compay will give you an estimate of how much they will buy them from you. If you accept all you need to do is box them uip and ship them for free. They pay all the shipping to get your books. You can try this one. Furthermore, there are a few other stores online that buy used book and all you need to do is box them up and they pay the shipping. Take a look around I saw quite a few of these markets online.

Thanks for the update, do you mean if you publish your book webuybook.co will buy them from you once and for all including the copyright cos in amazon if you list your books on their store you will get paid for every buyer for lifetime

It appears that you haven't read this post at all. The person was asking where they could sell their books online. I answered her and told her of one company that buys used book. It might help if you'd read the post and find out what it is all about.

From research I think Amazon kindle takes the lead, you can sell your books at Amazon or at eBay to see what you can make of it.I see people also selling theirs on social media especially on Facebook and Instagram.

I have found over 20 companies who buy back used books online. There is no need to have to sell your own when a company will pay for them. All you basically need to do is enter in all the ISBN coded and submit them to the book buyer,. They will send you a price. If you agree, most of them will pay shipping. All you do is box them up and drop them off. After they get the books, you'll receive your money. So much easier than doing it yourself and shipping of one book at a time.

in my opinion, you can sell them on eBay or Amazon

or you can join some facebook groups which are books speciality and found some books lovers to sell it to them in your country
this method I use it to sell many things on Facebook and contact the client in my country

Selling books via facebook looks easier but the challenge is how fast books can sold cos already there are known book publishing sites that people patronise so it might take time for you to have efficient sales

You can sell your books quicker if you search out facebook groups related to your books niches and get active on these groups.

By being active people will get to know you and it would be easier getting their attention.

When selling on FB you must take into consideration that you'll need to box up the books you sell and ship them off to the person. Like this, you'll lose money if you don't ask for shipping. Any form of shipping books is rather expensive and people normally don't want to pay the postage on this one. It is so much easier to find a bookstore online that you can enter your IBN number to the site and find out how much they will pay you for the books. If you decide to sell them this way they will send you a box to ship them in and they will pay for the shipping. This way you earn more in the long run.

And in case you don't want to write the books, I also know a place where you can get thousands of free high quality ebooks with full reseller rights. You can sell them at any cost you want. Some of them even have Private Label rights. You can modify then as you like, and even include your own links. You get it all for FREE :Hilarious::Hilarious: Hit me up if interested.

I would suggest Facebook, other sites like webuybooks is another good option as well. There is also Kijiji and Bookscouter, decluttr all these sites will help you out greatly and I hope this works out for you. I am sure you can find others as well by doing a facebook search.
