How much time do you think a developer should wait till he has to update his website/application again? most of people are always looking for updates and something new, especially when it comes to something that they use more often?

I think update always make something more valuable and good than ever before. And it always has a period. So there's no need to be in hurry before one update his app or website.

I think weekly updates work good for standard professional websites which can be personal and sports websites , for applications having email newsletter and quarterly updates quite better

At Beginning I am regularly active in updating my site and later I am found it for 10 days, still maintaining good with it. When I am free mostly I update it

Update like article content or back end update? If it's back end update or security update then you should implement it ASAP, so that your site doesn't get hacked.

Updating website should depend solely on the activites on the website. If it is like a forum, it doesn't need frequent update lest users may find it too boring to navigate the website.

A website can be updated when it is necessitated. You might feel like changing some things to improve in the activities of the sites or apps. Just like cashforum that changes to jiba

I think that updates can be done as frequently as one thinks they are necessary. This is even more important if you will Want to update the security of your website.

Though I am not a developer in any form but if I where to be one I don't think I would have specific times in which I would release an update. It would be based on if I have gotten something new to add to the site or application. By the time you are always updating your site or application, you might end up making it over complicated and it might not function like it use too again, which would cost more complains form the users.

As a user such as myself it kinda depends on the kind of website or application , a once in every 3 months is okay or once in a year is okay too if you think your site will still function if it isn't given any update. But if users are experiencing bugs and lags or delays after awhile you might want to update your application or site as soon as possible as that might make your users go away if you don't fix those right away

When it comes to updating your website I believe that you should be doing it as much as it has become necessary. A lot of your users are going to be frustrated if there is going to be constant changes to the user interface of the website as it is going to make it confusing. This is why the first thing you should put in mind a security and whether you are fixing any problem.
