If I make a new site what should I be doing for the " first traffic? "

I'd say start dropping your links in the forums which are relevant to your forums. And some of the time that can be harder. as some forums may not allow. and you have to try it on the guest posting. so that works as well.

Beat way is promote in social media and always be honest , promote on forums and start giveaways etc ,use SeO and use traddic exchange like hitleap ,easyhits4u etc ;use youtube channels to promote it ;start deal in bmf ,create advertisement related to your site and benedits etc can help u :-thankx !!....

Social media may not work out from the day one. You can ask your friends to get things viral. And in some cases that works out. And it can be slowly it would be good for the traffic in that case with the social media.

You must get social.. Create social pages related to your website content where you can post your articles,, boosting post on facebook can also a great way to make your pages to become popular, the popular your page is the greater the chance people will visit your site . spending money is necessary when starting to get traffic.

I heard that many people are getting the links through the pinterest too. So it feels like a good source for the traffic. it does take time though. so make sure to prpperly understand how to handle the traffic and where to place the images.

- pay $5 for some high quality articles and backlinks on fiver.com

- comment on blogs, websites related to your niche

- create pinterest account and promote there, like people stuff, follow them, and they will follow you back or repin your stuff, not sure if instagram or facebook backlinks count too, but you can try it too

I think traffic exchange , ptc and advertising can be helpfull !!, use social media and do advertising on fucets and use youtube to bring and seo is best along with use bmf deal to bring paid organic traffic .

You have 2 choices to get traffic to your sites:1.you can pay for having traffic to your site.2.you can do proper SEO to have traffic to your site.The first one will get immediately traffic to your site,but it will cost you cash,the second one will not cost you cash,but it will take you more time,months or even years to get your website well ranked in Google and having natural traffic on your site.

For the first traffic I have used Ptc sites,and manual traffic exchange site,Easyhits4u,but this are not quality visits,even if I got traffic to my site.I got higher in Google rankings,but quality traffic is important so you have to make in a way to have natural traffic on your site.
