If a team falls behind project deadline and in deep pressure then what steps they can do to meet deadline successfully? Any idea?

The best thing I believe is to bring it to the notice of the client why they are behind deadlines. Any rational minded client will extend the deadline a little if they can convince him/her to extend a deadline a bit further rather than stopping the project.

I like your reply from service provider's point of view. service provider team can also givd extra hours to meet the deadline faster.

They may engage extra staff to complete the project within the given deadline or they will have to give overtime to complete project with in deadline.

yes mate a good relationship between client and service provider is essential. your comments are very good to the point. team can also figure out why they fall behind on that project.

This issue happens just because of the wrongly prediction of completion date of the project but if we correctly predict the completion date of project so we will never have to face this issue.

yes and sometimes if project budget is huge then team emotionally goes after that to achieve that amount inspite of knowing that their lackage in skills and the only thing came to their mind is "let's try if we can its cool, there are lots of money".

And they fall into the trap.Initially they misunderstand the project scope and later they find out so many things to do.

I myself did that way too honestly. But I was alone. In fact compared to other website earnings freelancing earnings are just huge. I guess who effort in freelancing should effort some more time to practice increasing skills cause there are lots of money.

I would remind them of the security risk rushing a web app can produce. Better to make sure everything is running smooth if a bit late than to leave a mysql injection in the code ?

ha ha ha you are much into "dark web". I have interest for Kali and hacking but not to the extreme to break honesty. Specially name if their tools are interesting like "BEEF".

@Emoney good comment. I see almost all of the good service provider that I face asks for pay in advance although there is escrow. Also some of clients who do direct projects say over paypal their voice is like "do the job boy, your money is waiting. I can't pay until I get full code working for me". And I fall into both categories but we just need to go through Escrow with milestone payments. communication is very important and client should not change requirements frequently.

Eh, people will always people. Not all of them have good communication skills. That's why they tip toeing when it comes to client's needs and requirement.

If working hard on the project wouldn't cut it then engaging more hands should help. That will be an Express way to finish the project on time

Not always a good idea since more hands mean more coordination and in a crunch/deadline period there's simply not enough time to coordinate everyone.

you can bring more workforce to complete the project in time , but if you think you will not be able to do that , you can talk with the client and if he gives you time better , you can give an option of some additional as freebies , you can take more time , but can give better quality product , more clients are satisfied with better products and they usually will relax you with the deadline as per the experience

You can then employ experienced efficient staff for the project, so it could be completed within the given deadline.
