I want to play around with an online store. What are the hottest store programs for a website right now? I want to be able to insert inventory, shipping, photos, and digital download options. Any free scripts for this or free trials that anyone would recommend? I've looked at ebay and etsy... but I need something where I set my own terms. Thanks!

Woocommerce
Okay, thanks. I went to their site and it is somehow wordpress related. And there is something wrong with having multiple clients/email addresses. I do not think any of this will pertain to me, however, I did not want to connect my trial project up with my wordpress accounts. Woo, this looks a little tricky. I do appreciate it. I am going to throw myself into starting the testing in the coming weekend.

Prestashop, Magento, OSCommerce and Opencart. All of them give you a full customization over your store for free. But you probably still need to pay for the domain and hosting.

And if you just need an online store with basic features, single flat shipping option and no fees, you can try eBlueJay. They only had a one time $20 verification fee before you can start selling. But you need to bring the traffic to the store yourself. You can sell digital products as well as physical products on it.

Thank you. I have opencart in my browser right now, I've had it open for a couple of weeks, I was trying to find out if it is genuinely free in the way phpbb3 is free. Regarding OSCOMMERCE, I remember setting up an online jewelry store for a local man who made frequent trips around the continents to buy home made jewelry. But oh my goodness that has been over a decade ago, and their script had completely slipped my mind. Thanks for the list.

Authentic blockchain API and code sets are wealthy to sell to new ICO companies for example smart contract running codes. Also any other large scale popular website codes can be sold in big marketplaces.

You can make a bank by selling a bot script now, especialy for those that designed to spam the hell out of social media like Facebook or Snapchat.
