Out of all the programming languages out there, I think C++ is definitely the hardest. The syntax can be quite tricky and confusing. Most games that are played on PC are made out of C++. What language do you think is the hardest?

really depends on the person though, and nowadays games are quite mixed in terms of language, exmple , games in unity use c# , games in UE use c++

Lol, ever heard of Brainfuck? (No, I'm not joking since it is a real programming language)

There are also "Cow," Intercal, Malbolge and Whitespace programming languages. Sometimes I think the guys behind these programming languages are set to torture programmers all over the world instead of creating useful for the communities.

Lol had to google the "Brainfuck" programming language, google points that it's an "extreme minimalist" language, might look deeper into this, thanks!

Well, besides those five, there's also the Assembly programming language. Tried to use it in the past and oh boy even making a simple "Hello World" program

well , for any beginner , any programming language is hard if you don't start with algorithms , you get the basics from algorithms to figure out what's the concept of programming and how the things are working , then you can start by java or python , they aren't those hard

Sorry for my last post, my Firefox crashed and suddenly the post posted itself before I even hit the "Post reply button" lol. Anyway, for Assembly language you need to write more than two dozens lines of codes to even create a simple "Hello World" program. Now compare that to the Python (just needs one line) or Visual Basic (no coding at all) lol.

Any programming language is hard at a certain point, when you want to do complicated things with it gets harder, they say Python is easy, but when I check the simplest Python program it gives me a headache.

I would tend to agree with Emoney that as you get close to machine code (which I guess is technically a programming language), things get so primal that they're hard to deal with. The reason we have programming languages to begin with is that it's too cumbersome to talk to the machine in 1s and 0s.

getting straight into programming is hard for everyone , that's why you have to learn about algorithms first , so you get first the idea and concept of programming , and then you choose , i advice you to start with Java since it's kinda easy compared to C based programming languages

I have got to say, the most useful programming languages that can be implemented to create actual websites and programs are the hardest to learn, this being said one of the hardest programming language to master is C++.

During my software Engineering, I studied c, c++, assembly language, Java , visual basic and i my self learned php, phthon, etc... but if found that java is one of the hardest languages amongst all.

Assembly Language is very hard. It is also called Machine Language. But I am not sure if it is hardest or not. To feed machine, long codes are needed to write to instruct processor or other hardware to run properly.

when I search for programming related things I see people always say that Java is the hardest and you need more than 5 years learning it to be able to call yourself a pro

There are really not much programming language save a situation where you have to be patient and get some knowledge in it so you don't get to do the wrong thing when learning programming.

Well I mean... Writing machine code would be pretty hard lol

The hardest one I've used is PHP, not because its hard to understand, but because it's easy to make a mistake that cripples your site's security. PHP7 improved that, but its still not great.
