Every businesses created its aim is to making profits. However in order for the business to make good profits the business must be generating more more sales. As we all know that to achieve more sales the business must be in ability to receive a good number of customers making purchases in large quantities. Having many customers alone is not enough for the business but retaining them is the main thing to work on so that the available customers can get other customers to the business and having them multiplied in numbers.
So business owners can achieve this through offering the quality customer service to the satisfaction and selling at discounted and reduced prices of the most common and food stuffs items.
I know there are some other strategies that can work for you too.
 
Sell good products and services and give good customer experience. If your customer asks about something or having a problem with a product or service that you offer, quickly response to them. It will also help if you have a charming persona and marketing skills.

Sometimes customer support needs time to reply especially if it is technical answer so it is true that customer support have a list of prepared answers but in the end sometimes the need of specialist is required to give correct answer and not answer rapidly which answer could be totally wrong.

Yea, there are some organization that render after sale service to customers just to satisfy them. Once customers are treated like kings and queens they will want to come back and keep patronizing that organization. We must also learn to be friendly when attending to our customers.

In a well structure organization, there are professional who's main job is to attend to customers questions. Since they are professional in that field they have the knowledge and experience to answer customers questions or complaints in a manner that will satisfy the customers.

In the same vein with the commentator above, we should only strive to retain the customers that will add values to our business. There are some customers that will only be buying on credit even when we retain them.
Buying good on credit from an organization is not a bad thing as long as the debtor pay back on time. Given too much credit out all because of familiarity will kill the business. We must mind who we sell our products to on credit so it wont affect our business.
 
It is not possible for us to retain all our customers but it still does not mean we should do nothing to make them stay.
The way we approach them is very important in any business. Our first impression will tell them if they are to come back or not.
So we need to greet them well and be friendly with them. Also we need to put on a smiling face all the time I from of them.
Offering your customers the best quality of your products and service at a very good price compare to other competitors will help you to retain them. Being friendly to our customers and also rendering after home service to them are all what keep customer very loyal.
 
Promotional code is always at the best interest of the business owner than the customers. I think it is a way of playing safe while retaining customers rather than using discount or price cut.
Promotional code is very good in a business but to me I think using promotional code help to bring in more of new customers and once the promo period is over, then most of people patronizing the organization will stop since the promo has ended.
 
I totally agree with you, the main reason that keep a customer to a particular organization is the level of satisfaction he or she derive from the organization. Once a customer enjoy the service render to them, they become committed to such organization.
A business truly needs retaining customers for survival and to achieve its aim and objectivity. I would advise a business owner should focus on how to provide satisfactory service to people. This is the highest factor that can influence customers to stay in business even whether he buys in small quantities or large quantities but this would make everybody stays with business.

Yes, this is true when a company treats you well and you have had a good experience with it is normal that you promote or recommend it to your friends altruistically, definitely a good customer service is one of the best ways to retain customers and get new customers

yeah they are reason some business exists , because imagine if there was no customer , how would some business survive ,am sure that many would have run bankrupt or be in another form , because the importance of customer in business can't be overemphasized

Unfortunately, most businesses aftert they has made it at the expense of the customers, they tend to treat their customers with contempt. Banking in my country is a good example. They don't really put into consideration, the interest of their customers.

same here to , the banking sector is really not concerned about the customer affairs , most times when they want to answer you as a customer ,most of the customer care service might actually act harsh and others ,which could be very frustrating to you in the first place
