Every businesses created its aim is to making profits. However in order for the business to make good profits the business must be generating more more sales. As we all know that to achieve more sales the business must be in ability to receive a good number of customers making purchases in large quantities. Having many customers alone is not enough for the business but retaining them is the main thing to work on so that the available customers can get other customers to the business and having them multiplied in numbers.
So business owners can achieve this through offering the quality customer service to the satisfaction and selling at discounted and reduced prices of the most common and food stuffs items.
I know there are some other strategies that can work for you too.

Yeah I believe promotional code should not be excluded , once the customers sees that they could patronize or buy from you through a promotional code or discount ,their interest would obviously increase ,I love the use of codes to make relevant purchases

Actually, some of the customers doesn't check the quality of the product, what always matters them is always the price. But of them always prefer the quality without price. To me, i think the quality is always the best as compare to the quantity.

Most warrant for customers are always meant for a boosting business not a start up business. Though offering guarantee and warrant are good in business but you need to know the level of your business before.
 
@Franca01. That's right. But the fact is that a starting up business can also do this if truly he's into quality products. Giving warranty only certifies that we sell good and quality products and nothing more. We are not doing favour by giving warranty

But there are always some affect in giving warrant because if the years or months that you may give to the person and it did not reach the due date and it happens like there are some errors in the product, that warrant may actually affect you negatively.
 
Another way some people retain their customers is by making sure they offer home service. This will be done after a product has been bought from them. They may now be coming home to check the performance of such a product.
