I have always wondered if bitcoin will cease existing or will bitcoin vanish. It's just a thought, but what if there was no bitcoin in the first place, or bitcoin could no longer be mined? According to some opinions, It's calculated that all bitcoins will be mined by the year 2140, this is the point that is estimated to release the last block reward. And in some cases if a Bitcoin is lost or destroyed, it cannot be recovered, which can lead to a decrease in the total supply of bitcoins and an increase in their overall value? My question is why should a digital currency be lost when it's not in the physical?
Also what are you thought concerning cryptocurrencies generally, do you think they can have an end?

Being that bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency to exist and being that it is the most popular coin of all time I doubt that it will go extinct, especially when alot of people already associates cryptocurrency with bitcoin where some people didn't even heard about cryptocurrency but they know of bitcoin, and also add that more and more new update and technologies are being added to cryptocurrencies

I think truly Bitcoin had come to stay , there are some that have been taking about it's extinction , but nevertheless I think Bitcoin is still existing and holding it's standard till this moment and that's a good thing

LOL. One time I read an article on the number of times Bitcoin was going to DIE! It's been around since 2009. According to a publication called 99bitcoins, it's been declared dead at least 400 times. LOL.

This means it may take eternity for bitcoins to go into extinction. Though there are many people that have predicted the extinction of Bitcoin but none has rightly predicted. But that doesn't mean we should invest all our money into it.

That's true. In fact there are countries that have adopted it. And there is coin that has the potential of usurping the post of Bitcoin as number one coin. Until we have such a coin, Bitcoin will remain the best coin in the hearts of that investors

Bitcoin would always exist as the best coin to invest on ,you should understand the scheme and how it works , the way you invest in it should be of concern and many more in that regards

I don't think so. Though, there is no more fuse in cryptocurrency this year. We didn't hear about any coins that make huge increment in price but it doesn't mean that crypto has come to a halt. There are still many people into it.

Yes, but in this case it is possible to speak separately. As well as about blockchain, and about bitcoin, they are essentially different things. Blockchain without bitcoin will exist, but bitcoin without blockchain will not exist! This is if you take the conversation in the vein that you are talking about the use of blockchain by banks.

Blockchain exists initially for the purpose of creating Bitcoin. That's why I connected the two together. And other things built on Blockchain apart from crypto has not really made it to the limelight.

I think it was a bit the other way around. Initially, the blockchain was invented, and then Bitcoin was launched to test it and see all its possibilities. You never can tell. Though, government has really tried to kill this currency but they haven't succeeded with it. But it doesn't mean that there won't be other technology that can be greater than Blockchain.
