I had a blockchain wallet in the past but I forgot my login details. I don't remember anything, Now I want to start over and I will create another wallet.
Can you help me choosing the best btc wallet, thank you in advance

I got a Bitcoin address from Blockchain about a week ago, received and sent Bitcoin to couple people already, everything working great. Security added, didn't try other Bitcoin wallets so can recommend anything else.

There are lots of good bitcoin wallets out there, there are locals and international bitcoin wallets. I think you should try using your locally made or published bitcoin wallet since they are less likely to scam you. And also try know if they deduct withdrawal fees since it will really cost a lot.

I'd recommend Blockchain because when I was new in this system I also searched a lot on this.
I'm still using it, no problems so far. As compared to reports, it's considered safer wallet as well compared to few others.

Although, your choice matter and what pleases you. Good luck! :')

Thanks a lot for helping, I've just found an old paper that I had printed it years ago, It contains my paper wallet info and my blockchain login details. It was a good Idea to print it :)

I was using Xapo for sometime until they brought about transaction fees that were too much.. I later switched to Mycellium. You can even download their wallet on ur andriod phone.

Some people in my country are using UNOCoin and some are using the coinbase. So In my opinion choose which makes you comfortable. I am going to sell the bitcoins that I am earning. So not much use for me as it is. And considering how the bitcoin is rising each month. It'd be better if you store it in the web based wallet instead of the desktop software. So that way you can be secure in case desktop fails.

There are also bitcoin hardware wallets, a USB version, for those who can afford to buy and store more bitcoin, https://www.beermoneyforum.com/threads/best-bitcoin-wallets-for-secure-storage.1043/

You can make another wallet on blockchain but don't forget to write down your login details + wallet ID + security question + those 12 words. For faster login copy the wallet ID on a .txt file and save it on your computer or on a flash USB. Sometimes ,if you delete cookies ,blockchain will need you to input wallet ID ,thats why you need to save wallet ID on a file.
Blockchain is the most secure wallet that's why it has so many security features.

So they don't have recover method using email? I had bitcoin address from coinbase site, but still wondering what is the difference between these all companies.
I am thinking they might have different charges for withdrawing or transferring money.

Blockchain is also good, it's up to your decision what wallet brand will you use. Wallet apps will be good, secure anywhere you'll go. So you don't had to get in front of your computer.

I'm still stuck with Coinbase, they block any account without further notice if they suspect anything fishy.

may anyone explain more about blockchain.info as I am a newbie there and I would like to exchange my bitcoin to cash through ATM.

thx

Maybe you need to search more if what wallet supports withdrawing through your local currency, like us from philippines we're using coins.ph wallet because we can withdraw btc to our local currency.

When having a Bitcoin wallet, I do not suggest relying on coinbase or other similar sites that hold your Bitcoin for you. I would like to show you guys a phone app called "Mycelium". It is a bitcoin wallet that is tied directly to your phone. It is a wallet that you can extract from your phone then put it in a computer and vice versa. It's a lot safer than relying on Coinbase. Trust me on this one. If you would like to know why, go Google the Mt. Gox Incident.

Nice, thanks for sharing. I'll google it and will try to use it if its has a good feautures and securities.

Local bitcoin is the best bitcoin wallet so far. I have used blockchain and local bitcoin. With local bitcoin you can buy and sell bitcoins using most of the online payment system including PayPal and also using your bank account.

I never really understood how a local wallet worked, so I wouldn't consider that appropriate for newbies.
I currently use Coinbase, I had bad experiences with online wallets in the past, but I hope this one lasts for a long time.

My experience with coinbase is pretty good. Although I can not make coin exchanges due my country, it has been very trusted and they have low fee commission transfers.
My experience with Block.io is also good, they have Doge wallet and Lite wallet there in case you claim in faucets or trade those coins. Careful, as fees are high when "moving" bitcoins. Doge and Lite are with very low fees.
Local wallet when changing cryptocurrency to fiat is a good choice.....as someone already wrote.
I use Xapo for faucets, but never made a withdraw. I Don´t know the fees.
