Have you ever wondered what would happen if the bitcoin network got hacked? Imagine a group of bitcoin miners attacking the network instead of gaining profit. It won't be easy though considering the complexity of the network...

Yeah it's not so easy to hack the entire Bitcoin network. It's not just possible in my opinion. It's not even possible to have a Bitcoin wallet so forget about the whole Bitcoin network

The ict world it could be possible don't be surprise people might be working on daily basis trying to hack the system but I am optimistic Satoshi Nakomoto and his team are working round the clock to prevent it.

I don't think any hacker will be interested in it more ever they will like to hack some wallets with high amount of Bitcoin in them

You never can predict people's mind with recent scam of different dimensions, wallet hacking is already in existence. Probably might have been trying to hack blockchain but not success yet.

I don't think they can and also they can really benefit from it
every hackers attack has a goal if they attack the network they will shut it down but they not get any bitcoin or information because those thnigs are crypted no one can knows how to get them

If the network do get hacked and millions of bitcoin got stolen, bitcoin's price would greatly plummet, though I doubt it will get hacked that easily

according my opinion its not possible...if its...then hackers cannot hack into entire network as it store in our computers and many servers? thats what we doing as mining

Let hope it won't be possible otherwise any thing internet is not safe because that an access to a program can destroy huge number of things in a short time. Just an access to exchange site can drain it of all the coin.

It will be very hard to hack blockchain lol. Most miners are just ordinary folks who don't know how programming or hacking work, so I doubt it will ever happen.

I don't think the bitcoin network can be hacked , even if it is hacked there are already backup waiting and preparing for such occurance ,incase anything like that happens

That's true because the blockchain developer might have imagine scenario like this so continuous security update will be done. Alternative ledger could be available to divert the coins immediately if hacked.

I don't think that miners will be the ones to try to jack bitcoin network, because they are earning well from it . the hacking attempt may come from traders who will was t to acquire more of it .
However bitcoin network can't be east hacked .

Most of those miners might be able to hack because they shouldn't underated , in this world where we live anything can happen so most things should not be underratd

Even traders have little or no idea of how the system works behind the scenes.. Yes they might try to hack into people's wallets but hacking into the blockchain is near impossible
Yeah some traders have the idea of hacking ,but when they want to hack I think its impossible to hack blockchain because of everything attached to it

Bitcoin Blockchain is impervious to hacking. You need to understand how the transactions work, it has more security than the conventional banking system.

Might be possible. But i have never heard of such conditions.
There is absolutely no possibility in hacking a whole Blockchain, mate. By design, a blockchain is resistant to modification of the data. Being an open, distributed ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way, it can't be tampered with.

If this happens, it may become the greatest hack ever, with the rate of increase in hacking/cybercrimes, it may be possible but i am still optimistic that it's not, considering the number of bitcoin investors.

What does the number of bitcoin investors have anything to do with hacking though? People here don't understand how blockchain works.
