Is this worth it or is it some sort of slavery? A 4 days job with a duration of 12 hours work for each day. With an hour break everyday. Because that's the most salary that I can find most in my place.

Here in the Philippines, and if you are living in the province, it is already a good amount, as the cost of living is low. But you have to make ends meet with that money. In the capital city, it is a small amount. People earn triple to even 10x of that amount.

It depends on what phase of life you are. If you need money desperately then you'd do it. If you are in comfortable position with better money, you'd let it go. I had those days when I was earning 800-1000$ in India. Then I lost that job. My job is now downgraded to 600$ a month. And I work online to add more to compensate. I am yet to save for health insurance. So it all comes down to what you have set yourself goal for.

I'd say if you are under 40, then save every penny and take every damn job possible. Save save save. Just as much as you can. Then you can let your body relax after 40 and be picky about the work you do. That way you don't have to be hard on yourself.

Currency conversion around the world is changing. In india, you can live comfortable for even 400$. But some places are so costly even 1000$ a month is not enough.

The cost of living is quite high in my country and 250USD seems to be very less. Maybe if someone is on an internship an earning this amount it will will be good. The ideal amount for anyone in full time employment to earn in my country according to me is any figure greater than 500USD. Of course not everyone earns this amount over here and that's the reason the government provides social aid to many families.

It really depends on the cost of living in your area. It might be okay for an intership and single. But, it is never enough for a family to be sustain, I guess.

$250 is quite on the decent level here in our country when you are living in the provinces and doing labor jobs. But you have to work 8 hours -12 hours, 6-7 days a week which i think i very quite exhausting. But if you are on a professional level or lets say working with the government $250 is quite low. There's also this provincial minimum rate / day that applies here in our province and which i think are different with other provinces.

I think its a good amount. To be honest my offline job salary is not even 250 $ per month but i guess there are many other factors that affect us, cost of living in an area, inflation, Government policies, rate of debt and many more. I hope you can do much better and soon get a good job @Mysticallady

For me, it depends upon your lifestyle and your country's cost of living. If you are happy and contented with just eating at least 3 times a day, single, still living with relatives and not too much of a party goer, I think it would do. But if you have a family to support, plus you are renting an apartment or have kids that are schooling, it would barely suffice.

That's pretty well said, I am like that and I have to say I am doing well even with my less salary. If we can control our expenses then we can survive with less income as well and I think we all need to stay flexible.

That's right! Flexibility and some management skills will do. We have to learn to manage our earnings and expenditures. We have to know what we need from what we want. Spend wisely as they say, for you will never know when the storm will hit. If we can save, then much better.

I bet you are from Philippines too? Yeah, even professionals earn in the province ranging from $200-300. I have an engineer friend with such salary. He can live with it. He has wife, but no kids. His wife ahs a business though.

You are right, we need to be ready for every situation in life and don't know what can happen to our income. It may grow, it may decline further. So we all need to be flexible enough to cope with it and do well.

I am surprised sir that you think 250$ is a good amount. I find that it's really expensive in India atleast for cities like Pune, Mumbai, Banaglore, Delhi and Calcutta. You can see that the cost of living is increasing. We have very high cost for fuel and the food now. Also the gas and electrcity is getting higher. As you can see that it all adds up and 250$ is very low in India. One has to be in village and the tier 2 city for 250$ to be reasonable. I don't find this amount good at all.

I know Sir, but what to do. My earnings are less then 250 $ but i cannot do much with it. That's why I am trying to do well on online so that I can add some money into it. BTW I am from Punjab, Jalandhar.

This is ridiculous tbh.
12 hour is seriously hard for a $250. Even though in my country people with just basic education level gets on $300 job(after bit of tryhard). Considering this, it's not worth I guess.

Here if someone joins call center which is a very difficult, annoying and very busy job with 8+ hours still gets $200 pay.

However, if you have no knowledge and low education kinda thing, it's very well for you.
It depends on many factors too.

I agree I would love to find a part-time online job that paid this amount of money I would be very happy. But something legit is hard to come by for that amount of money
