Recently there was an interview that was conducted with Elon Musk in which he spoke about the investment that he personally has with bitcoin, that SpaceX has with bitcoin and that Tesla also has with bitcoin, stating that all of them own bitcoin and see it as a good way into the future. Naturally so, as they are all his companies. He also went so far as to say that from the European banks, those with negative interest rates for Tesla bank accounts are being redirected to bitcoin investments. This is the first time that I have ever heard of this term. Does anyone in this forum know what is meant by negative interest rates? And is this a good thing from a Bitcoin price perspective? Does this show an increase in investment for Tesla into bitcoin?

This is what happened right now. The prices are unimaginably high and many people are now trying to find alternative methods to make money. This is because they think that the only way to combat inflation is to increase earnings, but this is not so easy. People would have invested in cryptocurrencies despite inflation being so high, but the issue is that the bitcoin market is also not in the correct direction either. @Potuse
You must not forgot that bitcoin could be used as an instrument to save our funds from inflation, simply because it is a deflationary cryptocurrency, but because the market is in turbulence, it will be very difficult to invest in Bitcoin right now. Everything just look bad with the rate at which inflation is going up.

many people asset are close to liquidation point ,so they have no other option than to quickly liquidate their asset ,so that they won't accrue more loss and the price won't drop so well to make them more loss , but I believe in Bitcoin price nevertheless
People especially crypto traders are at cross road. They don't know whether to continue investing despite the bad global economy or they should just be trading to be making small profit. But right now, it seems the price of Bitcoin is experiencing uptrend position, meaning there may be light at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah the prices are increasing , inflation is actually high , things are really looking bad , I think most times the government policies do cause all these ,they are the ones to make adequate policies and others that won't cause problem ,but instead affect the economy positively

If you put up a technical analysis on cryptocurrency market, you will agree with me that the market is consolidating and there is a clear signal of indecision. This is actually telling us that it is best for us to stay away from cryptocurrency market now because anything can happen and if you're trading a market that is non-directional, you will lose your fund.

That's just it. I have stayed off trading since the beginning of these new bearish. But the fact remains that, some traders that are very good with daily analysis may still go ahead with trading. And I am pretty sure that this doesn't stop the future traders from making their money.

The aftershocks is that there is no moment you cannot make money in financial market of which cryptocurrency market is not excluded. This is the beauty in Trading because you can take advantage of the bearish and the bullish movement which is exactly what is being predicted by the traders.

You are right with your claim. But to be on a safer side, it is better to stop trading if we are novice about trading. It is also advisable for the spot crypto traders not to trade during this time. Not that there won't be a profit for them but the fact is that it is always risky. But for the future traders, they may continue trading even in worst bearish than this.

Actually, this is also my first time of hearing about negative interest. When I Google it, the explanation become more confusing. The information I got from Google is saying something about when the central bank interest is below zero. It is still confusing to me!!

It is easy according to my point of view when the interest rates are positive the person who requested the loan has to pay the percentage of positive interest when returning the money when they are negative It means that the borrower is the one who has to pay for lending money

Lol! Very simple. Thanks

Sometimes when negative interest rate are used, what it means is that the interest rate will favour the borrower and not really the lender. It does use to encourage borrowing and lending and as well control deflation. Elon Musk must have seen that Bitcoin is about to reach a point where people will only be encouraged to save it instead of selling it off as a result of panic.
