I have ETH in BTC-Alpha. But I have decided to do crypto trading (ETH/BTC and BTC/ETH). However, I don't know if there's a better cryptocurrency exchange.

I think you can check on changelly , bittrex , there are so many of them just look for the one that best suit you and exchange what you want to exchange

You can check the rating on Google about any exchange and then decide what is best for you. Because some exchanges are good but the fee is quite high. So search about it and then choose

Assuming I've found a list of 10 popular exchanges with low fee charges, and I need to choose the best one, how do you check their regulations?

I will suggest you opt for Binance, coinbase or Luno since your trading coins is between ETH/BTC though coinbase is more favorable to US residents both fee is low, these three are reputable.

I was thinking of Binance and Coinbase too, but I cannot choose which of the two to make as my main exchange.

I don't know about Luno. What's great about this exchange?

Luno is great though very few coins are available, your country also play a role especially if you want to use coinbase but Binance is ok.

If you want to know if its regulated just read the terms or FAQ page you can get your answers from there , but binance and coinbase is very legit

I think it depends on where you are coming from . There are some exchangers that are not available to some countries . So you need to co Sider this first

I'm looking at trsding the good old bitcoin since it is a lot profitable now and maybe, add ripple to it. Will just to check out an exchange that will work better for me

I advise you use an ordinary wallet like trust wallet to buy and holdl , you can only send to exchange site when you want to sell . This is because exchange sites are targeted by scammers presently .

So, Sad that crypto trading is banned in our country India, So for now we can't trade but before it I use coinbase, now only, receiving, sending and exchanging of bitcoin is only possible in India.

do note ripple has a one time activation fee of 20 ripples to activate your address, which means the first 20 ripples you send to your wallet for the first time is locked forever any ripple you send to it after that can be withdrawn though
