What are the common causes of bitcoin transactions that haven't been confirmed?
The slowness in payment transactions is the most frequent cause of unconfirmed transactions. Even though a user initiates a transfer, it would take at least 10 minutes for the Bitcoin network to also include the transaction in the block. A low blockchain fee may also result in transactions that aren't confirmed. Reduced transaction fees immediately lower the priority of a transaction, delaying verification.

Apart from sending from different trading platform, there is always number of stages that each trading platform always accept while receiving coins. We only need to exercise patience if at all we didn't write wrong address.

If the pool isn't congested and transaction fee isn't too low, it takes less than the time you mentioned for transfer to be confirmed. I've experienced a less than 10mins confirmation time.

Too many transactions with too little block size/capacity thus pushing fees higher. Bitcoin isn't using a "first come, first serve" model, rather who pays the highest fees will be the miners' priority. Anyway, seriously, 10 minutes mark is a long period average. The actual block generation time will vary depending on the network hashrate, "luck," and difficulty.

The last payment I received here, though, it is BCH but I am sure it works the same way. It took me just less than 10 minutes. This may be explained with the fact that the payment is low and not have much gas fee.

Although most times it could be because of the traffic on the network , that's why most people actually pays more to send Bitcoin and perform other transaction , they pay more for fees and others , it actually works better for some with the look of things

There are some coins that has faster confirmation rate. Coins like Litecoin, XRP and some do not really have much stages to be confirmed. Because most time, the bigger the coin is, the longer it may take.

It's true that some do not ready need much stages to get confirmed and others , even coins like algo too ,and so many small coins , would take faster means to get process , before anything else I think

The more difficult it is to mine a particular coin, the more complex its mining network. The more difficult it is to confirm. After all, a block consists of transactions. And there are so many of them, apparently, that the transaction waits a long time for its hit in a certain block. That's probably why there are delays. If the transaction has gone, then only a matter of time remains for its confirmation. But it all depends on the complexity of the network.

You are right. There was a time I love sending and receiving XRP and Litecoin because of their fast confirmation. I have also noticed that sending using different platforms may also affect the rate of the transaction.

Quite often, a transaction can delay when there are peaks in the bitcoin network. In the general case, it lasts from 20 minutes to an hour, but with the emerging loads, it can continue for a longer time.
Also, six blocks are required to confirm a transaction, but resources accepting bitcoin can set their own limit. And another role in the passage is played by the size of the commission.

hmm yes too , although since when I have been sending xrp , I actually noticed how swift the transaction is actually executed , because the rate at which the transaction are recorded , shows that the coin is really a very good coin you should actually check more about

Look, the difficulty of mining dogecoin is quite high, you can't get much of it on video cards alone. To do this, you need to use more sophisticated equipment - Asik-i. But, at the same time, the transaction in the dogecoin network is quite fast and the commissions are very small. why is that?

It can be delayed maybe the address you are sending it to is wrong address which may cause the transaction to be delay and also it may also be that the gas fees paid is little for the transaction to be completed

yeah you are sending to the wrong adress ,it could actually make your transaction get hanged and others , that's why it's good to send to the right adress , atleast you would get information that your coin have been deposited well in your wallet and you would not be bothered in that way

Well, this error can always be corrected if you immediately track the situation. The network does not take into account the wrong transaction, it simply does not accept it. It is necessary to cancel and start the transaction on a new one. Although it may be that the coins will simply burn out if sent to a non-existent address.

the thing is that once the transaction have been executed I think there is actually no going back and others , that's why before sending a particular coin ,you should decode and ensure that the adress you are sending to is actually correct in that order I think

There are many thins that cause delay in confirmation of bitcoin transactions. At the receiving end, check if there minimum transfer, and the network fee. Another is incorrect copying and pasting of bitcoin address, also Internet network can cause that too.

exactly most especially the network fee ,there are some coins that if you actually lower the network fee it would take time before you would recieve the transaction ,this is why you should actually be using lightening network to run transaction to avoid paying more

Yes, in this case it is always better to copy the address, rather than manually writing it down, and after that it is worth checking the spelling of it. And then if he is on the trail, it will be like a lottery, whether the money will reach or not.
