Ability to attract new customers consistently will determine how long the business will last. This can only be happen when the business has a strong marketing channel and campaigns.

One of my dreams is to start up a bakery business in my city. I am thinking of the marketing strategy I can use to beat the competitor in the market place.

I'll be very grateful if anyone here in Ghana show me some of the marketing strategies I can use to achieve my goals with the business.

You need to go for brochures as people in Africa are attracted more to local advertisements via billboards x brochures x banners vs online campaigns in my study .

More than marketing strategy we also need to look at the quality of our product too and if quality is not good along with presentation then alone marketing and sales promotion cannot do anything.

The best thing to do first is to make sure you have a good location. This will be the first way to successful business. Then there must be good ways to attract intending customers like introduction of discount.

I will suggest you make a different kind of bread that can not be found around your locality. It may cost more than the once people know, but believe me some people will go for it....

I don't support that idea. Both old and new customers are always welcomed. It is better to focus on the new customers and at the same time, we should not leave focus on the old ones.

If you leave focus from them and won't have repeated buyers , you can't have success , its the rule of business , repeat buyers are always given more preference .

I agree you can only win your competitions by providing them with a tough and proactive challenge from your side each time so they have to really work hard to beat you out .

Indeed , honest and sincere people always grow their startups with ease since people start trusting them and that's how they build their reputation actually in the market .

Make delicious but fresh snacks. You can't go wrong with this strategy. Those with sweet tooth will always want to patronize you as no one want to have old snacks but freshly baked ones.

For a small business, market it any way you can; word of mouth works best. A medium scale business would require the use of flyers, internet campaigns and so on.

Its true but the issue is that some people fine it difficult to use the words of the mount to talk and convince people to join their service or buy their product,its better if you are the type that low advertise online why not use social media for your promotion

I think that publicity is one of the best marketing techniques used in many countries. Many companies market their products in the street and even provide free samples to people and this attracts a lots of people.
