Over the past 20 hours, San Francisco-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, an anonymous crypto whale, and several other trading platforms have carried 425 million XRP, according to cryptocurrency monitoring service Whale Alert.
Whale Alert detected four transactions carrying a total of 425 million XRP. The two largest were held by Coinbase, the largest US-based cryptocurrency exchange.

Sometimes I think they do this for security reasons and pull it into their cold wallets. But it is still intriguing that this is done frequently and in large quantities in the XRP coin.

Indeed.. really intriguing. And i like the fact that the XRP has recovered at 0.7 before but they didn't sell their coins i think they have a huge trust in xrp

These days the whales are moving ripple too much and l guess they might be moving it to hardware wallets or maybe they are loading their exchange wallets preparing towards the outcome of the lawsuit.

Well, it's good for Ripple. The price has been moving faster, and this is bound to give people more confidence in it, despite the lawsuit.

But what if it loses? This means those investors will lose really large sums of money.

We can't say where they are moving the coins too, maybe they are moving into exchanges ready to sell them very quickly when the lawsuit go against ripple.

Well i think despite the lawsuit case the whale is still holding such amount of xrp and am very sure that if the whale withdraw , there would be a massive fall in the price

I think the whales might be planning on dumping the coin ,thus he wants to sell now that the price is favourable than when the news of the lawsuit affect the price

For them to move a large amount of money , it signifies that they are either selling for profit or to store the xrp in a cold wallet where it will be safer

It maybe they are moving the crypto to a save heaven were it will be save to do some transactions with it. Ripple has been experiencing hard time these days.

I try to follow the whale movements in many coins whenever possible. After the very intense xrp whale movements, I haven't seen any other activity recently. There seems to be silence about this for a while.

Well , I think presently people , especially whales are silent to watch the market trend before taking further actions . Whales don't rush into market just like that
