In these days we are getting ready made themes and Wordpress blogs are enough to create pages as they built in Seo almost everything. I was using Dreamweaver long back, but presently nothing as CMS is enough to create anything.
For images, I used Flickr all the time to download CC images for my blog and they really worked best in Seo.

freesplash and freepik are ones that i use sometimes some images are being able to be downloaded but you have to give image credits to the original creator of the image so you should make sure that you give credits where required if you download any image of that option still there are many other websites .
