Wealthy Affiliate is a site where you can learn how to build an online business, and there is a affiliate program where you can earn commissions from your referrals too.

There are two types of membership:

• Starter membership (FREE)
• Premium membership ($19 for the first month special offer, then $49 per month thereafter)

For starter membership, you will be given 2 websites and 10 starter lessons. From there, you can build the websites, start your business and generate traffic. I think this might be good for promoting affiliate products.

Referral program:

If the referrals have upgraded to premium membership, starter members earn $4 for the first month special offer, then $11.75 monthly and $87.50 yearly commissions.
For premium membership, it's double of this. The commissions sound attractive.

Minimum Payout: $20
Payment processor: Personal check or PayPal


The company has been around since 2005. I just joined the site and wish I can set up the website there and start learning about affiliate marketing. I am yet to learn more about this site.

Wealthy Affiliate is a fantastic opportunity for any level entrepreneur, beginner to pro.

I can confirm this is a great platform to start and develop your online business and am currently ranked 50 on this platform.

They probably have one of the best affiliate programs I currently know of.
As a free member you can make $0.50 per confirmed referral that completes their profile.
Free members also earn $4 for special offer ($19 per month) referrals, $11.75 for normal monthly fees thereafter and $87.50 from yearly premium account referrals.

If you remain a premium member for 3 months you can begin training on the platform and earn $5 - $75 per training tutorial! These can be in writing or video format. The length of the video can be 5 minutes as long as it is helpful content to the WA community, you will be paid if the training is liked by other members.

There are many other ways to earn.

So far after 6 months I have my own website that has a fairly good amount of content, traffic and conversions (signups / referrals / small sales and commissions).
Nothing to brag about as yet but I am getting there and have already learned a lot about online marketing, affiliate programs, SEO (keywords), content marketing, scams, WordPress, website creation and design, basic CSS and HTML etc.

The best thing to do is follow the course and yes do create a new website and you can incorporate your blog into your website.
.com domains are taken more seriously by Google and you will get better rank and more organic traffic as a result.

I think more than promoting products people are making more money by referring people because even if someone not buy the premium offer you still get $0.50 when the referred user completes his/her profile. I saw many people earning $2000+ in one month and its a passive earning but when I registered on wealthy affiliate I got rejected cause my country is not available that's mean it is not available in worldwide.

You can still join Wealthy Affiliate from India, you just have to pay the premium membership.
You get $1 per referral BUT in order to request the credits for your referrals 5% of them have to go premium.
This is a fail-safe for spammers and people who buy referrals for say $0.20 or $0.50 to get that $1.

Kyle has a very good system in place to prevent scams and dishonest intentions.
I would highly recommend you join this program and start promoting it on social media, your blog or website etc.

Well if you have 90k followers on tumblr then you already have a big audience to promote to. Basically anything you share will be looked at by thousands of people... so are you not making money with this blog? As I said before, people will take you more seriously with a .com domain.

WA will teach you how to manage, promote and monetize your website like a professional.
If you already doing well with your blog and 90k followers this can be a huge bonus for you.

i was making money with some stores but they ended their program and idk how to make now with tumblr

May I ask how long you have been with Wealthy Affiliate before giving up or reaching this conclusion?
Sorry but I don't agree with your opinion about WA.
The reason so many people promote WA is because it works for people who are focused and determined to become successful, it is not for people who are hesitant, unsure or just trying things out.
It can also take a bit of time to actually realize the value you get for the $49 per month (the yearly option works out to $30 per month).
I'm not going to list all the benefits here because I have written a full review on my website regarding that but I would advise that people who are skeptical should do proper research instead of assuming what WA is all about.

Thanks to WA I have a nice monetized website today that attracts organic traffic :)
Not where I want it to be yet but the foundation is set and I can expand from here.
Have also managed to get some articles ranked on page 1 Google search all thanks to their training.

I guess everyone will have a different opinion but at the end of the WA is legit and has a 98/100 overall ranking.

Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I spent probably a week on the site as a free member. I know the owners want to make money as everyone else but to me it just seemed like the main focus was only convincing me to upgrade and then teach me some stuff. I'm pretty sure if someone wants to create a successful website and monetize it there is enough information out there as long as you want to learn and have the time. I don't think the benefits of the site justify it's price. I'm happy it worked for you though.

If you going to do this outside of WA you still going to pay money for your domain, SSL and who is going to help you when your site crashes? Where you going to get site support for free if you can't fix the problem yourself? Which happens often when you trying to build an authority website.
How much do keyword tools cost per month? With WA you get one for free that works exceptionally well.
Who will offer you free help online and give free expert advice?
Trust me, the $49 (or $30 per month) you pay is well worth it. It will be more expensive to do this all separately, I have done some research and it can easily cost $100+ to pay for what I mentioned here.

I won't recommend the program if you are trying to learn. There are plenty of free sources out there that can teach you things lot better. And also the cost of hosting and domain is cheap too. So it's not really worth it. people who promote their program may speak in their favor out of bias. but to be honest there is absolutely no new content on their site that teaches you to earn. there is a thread on warrior forum lot of truth about wealthy university is posted there.

Hiya - my wife has been a free member of Wealthy Affiliate for nearly 2 years. She learned how to set up her own Amazon Associates websites & eShops using just the WA free member training but it took longer.

The only 2 smalls gripe I have with WA is that they do panic a few new members into upgrading before they are in any way ready & in my opinion, if some-one joins a training site the person who refers them should take a very active interest in making sure people under them learn fastest and best methods to earn online. They should be true guides and mentors to their downlines.

The 3 month timescale WA seem to often imply before expecting a return can be reduced to a month, or even less when using eCommerce WP plugins & turning blog into blog/eShop even at WA hosted sites, as we do.

Because the owners of WA come from an affiliate marketing and promotions background, not eCommerce, it is only right that they show people the best ways they know how to do things. The rest of the training there, however, covers all of this so it is not neglected in any way.

I highly recommend WA Free membership then when ready only, WA premium, and also recommend using the free SiteRubix sites first while learning.

i just made a tour of the site and I think it a legit site for money generating especially for enterpreneur. I intend to start with the free starter for beginners.It a 7 day trial which comes with some benefits like two free websites,traning as in one on one coaching and numerous searches.

But if one have the required amount for the premium package,I think it will just be the best because it a win win situation for everyone.with just $49 one will be on his or her to making a whole lot of bucks.

There is good affiliate marketing training at the website called Authority Hacker. You get a free website and good quality training related to internet marketing from SEO to writing quality articles to attract traffic. The only caveat is that unlike Wealthy Affilate, the basic training is not free, it comes at a steep cost-$997.

There is no information about internet marketing, SEO and whatever you want, that cannot be found for free online, you just have to search it on Google, and blogs and forums will give you everything you need at no cost. The difference with training courses is that is well put together and people get more serious about learning making money online because they paid that piece of information. And they start study, still not everybody that buy that course makes money, not everyone will be successful, lot's of efforts and investments are to be made and believe me people who come from offline world are very hesitant on investing and risking cash online, I was the same, or look at you, honestly, how many ideas you had and you did not invest cash because at the same time you were thinking is not gonna work?

Youtube is your friend. You can check out the "side hustlenation" blog and also "entrepreneurs on fire". You can learna lot from those podcast. You can find more sources than wealthy affiliate university. AVoid spending a lot of money on wealthy affiliate and affilorama. Those members get paid to refer you.

That price just to learn about SEO and affiliate marketing is quite high.I was introduced to wealthy affiliate and it seem.promising on the verge of joining my country was outrightly banned from joining and I got stucked. Their was a little above $40,think $49, or thereabout. But seriously one can get this information free on the net,it just need one to research well.
