Facebook years ago decided to introduce a similar ads system that's in youtube, where content creators needed a facebook page with active visitors and vids that are atleast 3 mins long in order to monetize their videos, but from what i see, nobody is even monetizing his facebook vids, except a facebook page that i came across like months ago.
Do you think that it was a failure for them to compete with adsense ?

pretty interesting, can you explain it more if possible?

Long story short, Facebook lied about their videos' view counter. For example, Video A posted on both You Tube and Facebook. On Facebook, the video gets 500,000 views, while the same exact video on You Tube only gets 250,000. This makes advertisers think that Facebook is more popular and can get views faster than You Tube, that's why they flock to FB video ads after seeing that result. The reality isn't that sweet though since the video that posted on Facebook only get about 100,000 views, FB intentionally increase the counter to attract advertisers.

Oh nice to know, but i believe that it could be true, when checking videos on youtube, they are being listed randomly so you dont know what video is coming next, thats why getting views might be easier in facebook than youtube

oh damn, but i believe that the fake views thingy was never removed, and it's possible doing the same with reactions, i saw some few posts with over than million reactions

Maybe bots, infected computers in form of botnet or even fake likes from some SMM panel. It's common to manipulate stuff like that these days. I know an FB bot that can make million account in just one day.

oh well, it's pretty much hard now to keep a new facebook account, they literally close them after few minutes of opening them under some unknown 'security' reasons

Normally, each person can only have one FB account, but there's a way to circumvent that. By using static residential proxy for example.

With what I have seen here its like they discontinued , but they are still monetising site and app , so I think there is no competition s
With AdSense

I don't actually see it as a failure , this is because people do watch Facebook videos and will be prompt to check the ads when it displays for few seconds

What I would like to know is that, this ads that is display on Facebook videos, are they paying the owners of the videos for it or not? To my level of understanding, Facebook is not paying.

Facebook aren't paying the person that post his /her video but the person can monetise if he or she has high number of view through affiliate marketing

Through affiliate marketing on Facebook or where? I know of affiliate marketing ah clickbank and other websites. What I don't know of is if facebook has affiliate programs on their site

Thanks for your response. I will sure do a research around it. But I have not heard of anyone getting paid by facebook owner. That guy is so stingy. He makes a lit of money from people but he is not willing to release any.

The owner is not stingy because if he promise to pay people and later the revenue won't be enough to cover all , then people will start saying Facebook is a scam

Since when Facebook pays people lol. People pay Facebook so that they can put their ads, videos and all kinds of promotional material there, not the other way around.
