As per Bitcoin.com, Madeline Lenahan of Apptoppia has published a report that show significant increase in the number of downloaded crypto wallet application when compared to the last year's statistic. As you can see on the graph above, the spike in this year started in March, right when governments all around the world began imposing lockdown to their citizens. As crypto became more and more mainstream in many parts of the world, so does it's users. The report also shows that the number of active crypto users increased to 110% when compared to the 2019's statistic.
