Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently said that maximalism is "extremely toxic" during an appearance on the "Bankless" podcast. He claims that he is interested in Zcash and Tezos, and that nothing outside the Ethereum ecosystem is boring and illegitimate. Following Ethereum's plan, Zcash developers announced that the project would convert to the proof-of-stake consensus mechanism. Is this likely going to cause a pump in the price of Zcash soonest?.

Zcash hasn't been too popular these days and I think it is great to have some attention drawn to it by the renowned eth co-founder. The next few days should give any indication of how Vitalik's position on zcash would reflect on its price. As for Tezos, it seems to be more popular and even did well in the past year.

Let's hope the praises laid upon the coin 'Zcash will enable it to grow in price due to its new mechanism which it is operating on, which is the proof of stake ( POS). I don't trade much of the privacy coins, but I believe this coin have huge potentials in it, that's why Ethereum co-founder heaped praises on its development.

I like the way the ethereum founder is praising other coins because if I could recall ,at first it was cardano and now ethereum ,it's good and I am really happy they are ready to see that Bitcoin development gets to an attainable point and level too tho
