VISA is taking huge strides where Cryptocurrencies is concerned. I hope other payment platforms emulate this for convenience and speedy transactions.

They surely want to do so because creating an offline payment system like that would make transaction more faster and easier too

The (CBDC) central bank digital currency idea came up last year, 2021. But till today i haven't seen any improvement or confirmation of it implementation into our day to day transaction activity, so why Visa having plans for what has not been implemented. Or it could be that am not updated? Visa is even looking for a way to allow users to have access to pay or receive without internet. That's intriguing.
