I've seen many videos on YouTube show that you can get a verified PayPal account by adding a fake credit card info to your PayPal account (when you sign up) but those videos hided what's going to happen when you receive money on your account!
Here is whats going to happen when you use a fake credit card to verify your PayPal account, PayPal will freeze your account once you receive money and you won't be able to use the money in anything (buying-sending-withdrawing).
And since you can't provide a valid credit card statement because it was just a random fake credit card or stolen credit card info, this account will be useless forever!

How did you verify yours? I'm having problem verifying mine since I'm not receiving a Paypal code and they haven't charged my card, too.

I have seen you are also from the Philippines. You use PayMaya because it is a Mastercard. You just have to download the app from play store, fund your account to any 711 branches and use it to verify PayPal.

I wonder why someone would opt to use fake details yet i thought paypal is an official stuff, but anyway thanks for the information i have learnt something and will educate someone else.

Why would anyone use any fake stuff for a serious thing like an account holdings,most especially with paypal that is as sensitive as a anything.I think people still do not realize how sensitive paypal is,I most times prefer payoneer to paypal.

I don't have credit card. still I am using the paypal. not sure how this type of the verification is even required. those days of card verification are gone. now you can use the paypal for accepting money alone. so need to go through fake credit caard and stuff. that is only going to make things a bit harder. I can tell you that some of the time freezing the account requires easy for them. they can do it any time they want. but make sure that you are not using fake credit card simple.

Oh I am verified since 2015 and I am not aware of virtual cc are already available back then. I am sharing this information to give you guys an idea and maybe you can explore your options. If I may ask what are you using for the verification? is it a virtual cc or a virtual wallet from a telco provider? Are you from the Philippines?

Yes, I'm from the Philippines and I have linked my debit card on my Paypal yet no code received for verification.

Your friend might not have been able to show credit card statement but it also said in the screenshot to verify his identity.He could have tried that option so his paypal account would not be useless forever.He also could have used a different email address and used a legit real credit card and create new paypal account.

Why must use a credit card information for verification purpose? We might only submit some bank accounts' information for verification and withdrawal purpose, credit card is not necessary at all here.

My question will be why do that? If you are not comfortable in giving your credit card, you could either give your debit card or your bank account numbers.

I tried the bank account methods and it seems to be very tedious and I didn't quite want to use my credit cards and hence I went on to use my debit card instead which the effort I truly think that should be no difference from the saving banks account.

I am sure its possible to verify PayPal with fake credit or Debit card as well but it cannot happen In India as here in, we need to update our PayPal on same name as on pan card and on Bank account and card, otherwise its impossible to verify PayPal.

My question to you is why should anyone use fake credit card to verify your PayPal account unless he/she has some ulterior motive in doing that. If you have a proper bank account, just link your bank account with that bank and verify your PayPal account. If on some account your country does not approve PayPal, do not use it at all.

Yes you are correct. Its also classified as identity fraud and you can go to prison under the computer miss use act. Silly question to ask, why not just walk into your local bank, apply for an visa debit card and verify using your details?

Don't try to out smart PayPal's security system because, you won't be able too. Technology is so advance nowadays, that Paypal will automatically check the card name to the name on the account and if it doesn't match they'll freeze your account.

I use a debit and credit card to verify my account as I want to be in good standing. Their are other factors which can help prevent an account limitation from experience, but I'll talk about those later.

There are several possibilities of why people would bother using a fake credit card, and I can name a few.

• They're dealing with shady stuff on their PayPal account and want to avoid being identified.
• They're underage and created a PayPal account with fake information.
• They want to "test" the security systems.
• They're morons who think they're really smart doing that.

The fake or wrong card information would get thru since Paypal has linked to all the banks for transferring or receiving funds and other transactions, so it's sure that Paypal able to confirm the details before able to handle the above transaction.

I understand what you are saying. it must be like that because the one year is not over.

If you verified for example last year April, you will have to verify again this year April. Maybe the card has expired before the 1 year is over

PayPal verification is not a yearly thing. An account is verified after linking your card to it. However, if the card expires, you will not be able to receive funds with it. PayPal will send you a notification to this effect, although your account is still verified.

There is no way this will happend and paypal wont know about it,using fake credit card to verify your paypal account is never possible in as much as you are using paypal they are very strict and its going to be detected very easyly so stay true and provide information that is legit
