Technological era has come with many benefits to online business people. One of them is that it has granted them an opportunity to grow their online businesses through advertising and selling in social media sites. This social media sites allow you to sell and advertise almost anything. The three best that I have used myself and made my fashion and design business grow include Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

1. Facebook.
I recommend facebook as the best of the three because of three reasons. One, everyone is in Facebook, including my grandma lol! Secondly, Facebook allows you to do variety of online content, events and ads. Thirdly, Facebook offers personal contact with your customers and it is also a sweet destruction even when they are in their busiest moods.

2. Twitter.
It is also a good platform to carry out your online business. The most useful tool here is a buffer. It allows you to have a plan for your business content and to also pile it in a stock.

3. Instagram.
It allows you to share phisical content- that can be see. This could be photographs of the items you are selling or short videos of the services you offer. The most useful tool here is the ability to share your content in Facebook and twitter accounts.

Other social media sites that can be useful include LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and google AdSense.

It's hard to say which social media will grow your website. Some websites can be painful when it comes to building the business. Some are just out there which we have to make use of by observing peoples discussion. That's one way you can get the most out of the facebook groups. And the same can be said about the pages. I'd recommend you to try out forums and groups where people discuss such projects and share advice. And try to find business among them.

You may find it difficult or challenging to promote your business via social media if you do it manually which is free but if you opt for paid method facebook will run campaigns that will ensure your ads hits the targeted audience.

Despite all these recommendations, I think twitter is the best as I have researched about it and this is considered as the most preferred between Youth and even between the older folks, on 2nd spot will be Instagram and finally we can utilize the immense reach of Facebook as well.

You are right, there are so many platforms online one can actually advertise whatever they have to sell I believe Facebook is the most of them all. They're more people on Facebook follow by Instagram that one can get good amount of clients for whatever products and services one have to offer.

Instagram and facebook are the most popular and helpful platform to grow your business and convert your audience into customers.
Yeah, facebook and instagram are the best. This is because they are so popular and have many people in it. Promoting your business in them can land you many customers.

YouTube is a very good place to create awareness for your business and products. In fact all social media platforms are good means of promoting businesses.
Youtube is a very good source to showcase your business,as you said social media is the best but note that site like facebook is easy to use for business but its going to be free advertising if you want to make it more presentable then use paid advertising

Yeah, I discovered that too. Paid advertising on Fb is way better however, for starters where funds might be an issue, free advertising will work too.

twitter is still not recommended for promotion to be honest, i personally see it as a news platform than anything else, so investing time or money on it wouldn't be recommended

Social media is very helpful in business, especially Facebook and Instagram...LinkedIn will help you connect to like minded individuals and can improve your knowledge... YouTube is nice but it has been filled with so many meaningless videos. Forums can also help too.

Facebook and Instagram is great in promoting your businesses. Having a Facebook page will be a good idea in making your business successful. YouTube will also go a long way in increasing brand awareness because it involves videos and i think it's the next good thing.

They are good when in the right hand. I see many people fail to use them for growing their business and waste their money

I personally managed to buy a lot of things from offline stores just by using facebook, if i didnt see them advertising their products there, they wouldn't probably get me as a client and they will stay limited to the clients that are near them

I have seen people tweet about their businesses and other stuff and how effective it is, I dont really know. I think other platforms still serve better in promoting businesses too.

Yes they did because a lot of things happened, one of them is that the userbase became full of scams (bot accounts inviting you to some whatsapp groups or some scammers telling you their husband died and want to donate their money) and since it's available for all ages, it got ruined by kids
