I would like to create a discussion and ask a question at the same time. I have been trading / investing for two years so i've been around for a little while. I have read a lot about USDT - Tether in the past. I'm no economist but if Tether is subject to inflation/deflation just like the US Dollar, that is; the supply of USDT can be expanded/contracted, what makes USDT any better than USD?

The more important question is with the Federal Reserve printing Trillions of dollars (This week outlining plans to inject 1.5 trillion into the US economy) in QE to Infinity, what happens to the value of Tether if the US Dollary hyperinflates? Tether is afterall based on the value of the dollar, what happens if there is a loss of confidence in the dollar or it suddenly hyperinflates like Zimbabwe?

I'm on the same page as you bro,. this is scary for space. Tether is running wild and printing more volume in 24hrs than BTC and that is total BS as BTC holds 65% of all martketcap.. this means the price of BTC is false

I on my own am wondering why the price of tether USDT price never changes or goes either below or above the value of the us dollars

Tether USDT was created as a matching price with the US dollar but now it varies a bit. also i hate the transaction charges, it is around 1-2$ if we are transferring from wallet or exchange.

For me, Tether dropped in my eyes... Especially after the last "print" of the coins.
Also, I think that euro could be more stable in price, than dollar. So, we need to orienteer to the stables, related to euro, like eurg
