UserCrowd was rebranded not long ago. The company changed their name from UsibilityHub to UserCrowd. When they did this it seems that the site now has more tests that you can take. This is an international website and anyone can join. Here you will be doing really short user tests on websites or even apps. They can even ask you for your opinion on different logos or other types of information a developer is looking for the opinion from the public.

How Does it Work?
  • Like all sites, you must first join.
  • Here you can only join with your email address and password.
  • The site will ask you several questions regarding your age, your country, and what languages you speak.
  • They will also make you verify our phone number. You must enter your phone number and they will send you an SMS with a verification code. Before you can finish the sign-up process you must enter this code.
  • The site will verify your time zone and set this up for you.
  • They will also want to know how many hours you work on your computer each day.
  • They ask you if you want to set up your push notifications on the site.
  • This is a really good idea. If you have them turned on you can receive notifications of a new test that is available for you to take.
How Do The Tests Work?
  • The tests are super simple and easy to take. You don't need a screen recorder or even a microphone to take the tests. They are all done in your web browser.
  • The company can show you a website for a few seconds. After this, they will give you a few questions to answer. The questions are simple and deal with what you remember about the website you just saw.
  • Normally, it takes less than a minute to take the test and give your feedback.
  • You can also be shown a logo or a set of logos and asked which one you like better. You must give your feedback and tell them why you like this one.
  • You'll earn points for each test that you take. The test points are 1 to 5 points for the tests.
How Are You Paid?
  • The company uses PayPal to pay you with.
  • You'll need $10 in your account before you can request your payment.
  • Each point you earn on the site is equal to $0.10.
  • You can earn $0.10 to $0.50 for each test that you take.
  • You need to request your payment from the company.
  • It normally takes 30 days to process your payment.
The site has improved since it rebranded. However, what I don't like is how long it takes to be paid by the company.

Has anyone joined this site and how do you like it since it was rebranded?

I have joined the website but I'm not getting any work for them. I know I'm not good with tasks and don't have much favorable demographic details but still I deserve a chance to receive tasks and to earn from them.

You should wait at least 1 week, they don't have tasks every day like a normal job, this site is like Citizenme actually, you shouldn't expect or rely too much on it.

It looks very tedious to earn from Usability hub and more so as i am unable to receive any tasks from them till now. I joined yesterday morning and till now i haven't got a single task so its pretty demotivating as well

Yesterday morning? Just wondered that does the site send over the tasks to every members or just leave there and opened to be grabbed like Microworkers? If it is the former, then I have to hold on my registration as I am going off for few days for Lunar Chinese new year.

This site is not like Microworkers, they don't have available tasks all the time, and they expire fast, thus make sure that you allow push notification on desktop for the site. I've just finished a preference test for 2 credits :) just look at the 2 designs and decide which one I prefer.

Can we choose to install the push notification? And, would it make our PC run slower just like the Clixaddon by Clixsense?
It seems it's a race or competition among the users, haha! Is it fast to hit cash out? How many months it taken for hit USD10?

I don't know how to install the push notifications, I just let the site open while I am working on other sites, it makes a little sound and the icon turns red when we have a test available.

Just click on Take some tests, they will show you something like this, choose everything and they will notify when you have a new test even when you're not open the site.

I only have weekly test option so far. No new tests out there for me as of yet. But yeah that would be something to note though. I am sure that in future I'd have some decent tests to check out. It'd be worth checking on that part.

There are very few tests available now, my last one was 7 days ago, but now the tests worth more than before, all my last tests worth 2 credits and I read some users are receiving 3 credits tests.

How the site notify us even we are not opening the site? Via email or other channels?

They will pop out the notification at a corner of your computer, like on your phone, you just need to click on the notification and it will direct you to the test.

So they pop the notification when there is a new test? reminds me of moocash
Well, sounds like a slow way for making money, but ill take it, I have to try to get as many sites as I can

This site is not an app though, it's better if you're the type of person who works on your pc all the time. I'm using both and I believe MooCash offers more opportunity to earn than UsabilityHub.

Moocash is an app that have those install or share then submit proof via images offers, right? I am in front my laptop for long hours, no worries.

though the tasknon usabilityhub is easy and will only take few clicks to finish, one must always put in mind to give attention to the task given to them. Once they found out that you are not paying attention to the task, they might deduct it to your withdrawal.

Really? This Is the first time I have ever heard about it.How many cents would be deducted normally?I should be more careful in the future.

You will not be paid for the tests that have skeptical answers, I also skip the question for the preference tests at the beginning, I think I will be deducted a lot when I cash out...

It's just about your opinion, you don't need to be an expert to do this, just give a short answer for why you choose this or that, what's good and what's bad maybe. Just don't say I chose it because I like it.
