There are countries that are for cryptocurrency and there are some that are against it as well, and I think that this is natural given the fact that this financial system does pose a lot of concerns and risk as well. However, if we look at America, the stance on cryptocurrency changes from state to state. In fact there are some that are in support and others which are not. In a recent news article it seems that the major of Miami is actually taking about the possibility of the country having a president that is in support of bitcoin after Joe Biden, referring to this as a bitcoin president. What do you think about this?

Am sure that many crypto lovers would truly vote for the person since the president choose to support Bitcoin, but I don't think it would be easy for such to happen because what if the fake president promised to support Bitcoin during his manifesto and refused to execute it when he has become the president fully

Does that mean the US will be ruled by two presidents? The real president and the Bitcoin President? I think it doesn't add up since the president himself supports bitcoin.

Joe Biden's administration isn't up to a year, he still have 3+ years in his first tenure with another four for second tenure of he emerge as president for the second time. But if majority of USA residence support cryptocurrency, it is possible for them to have one by next 3+ years, which will become the first president to love BTC and other cryptocurrencies. That will surely give cryptocurrency new dimension worldwide.

I don't think Joe Biden has really given in for cryptocurrencies neither has shown any body language of disliking it.

Oh! Now I understand. Thank you for clarifying it. It will be a good thing if the US with its power can take a giant step. That will means other countries may follow suit.

The mayor of Miami is not a big fish.... he might be putting his person into the spotlight but he doesn't have that influential supporters in his party. Except Trump all presidents has been Senators, Governors or in another influencial federal position before running for president.

Of course, thr the benefits of cryptocurrency needs to be harnessed. Any country that it's citizens are benefitting from cryptocurrency needs a president that is in support of it.

What can say about this is that ; knowledge is power and those who has it have live. I believe if some of those who are against it really know the benefit of it they will know that its more than the problems it can cause.

Well I totally understand their plight they know without the support from the government they might always be regulations that will be against them in future so they need a government that will be in total support already

Exactly, electing someone who doesn't really understand Bitcoin may bring about strict regulations that will hamper Bitcoin growth in the country.
