Ethereum and Bitcoin are basically considered to be rivals at this point and there are many people that see the rivalry between the two of them as very interesting. It would be good to see that a coin can challenge bitcoin. In recent news, it seems that Ethereum is set for a major price hike, based on one simple fact. Jack Dorsey constantly talks about bitcoin and yet despite all the praise bitcoin is not accepted by Twitter. Ethereum on the other hand is accepted by Twitter. Do you think that this can be a major turning point in the bitcoin/Ethereum rivalry?

Yeah that's the thing I think twitter are more concerned about the use of ethereum since they consider it cheap and secondly they see that it have more potentials compared to bitcoin

Twitter will soon implement lightning payments as well I have heard it from an twitter employee , he said ; things are OK the working side

Yeah for sending bitcoin tips by the Twitter subscribers without any transactions charges, Twitter has not deviate from Bitcoin in my opinion.

Yes and I would like it if they are more focused on other altcoins like ethereum too , atleast to increase the popularity more like the way Bitcoin popularity is high already

Ethereum has much higher growth than expected and will continue to do so to be honest actually in my opinion that's what I can say for now

Nice honey

Twitter is such a big platform and so them supporting etherium will pose more competition against Bitcoin. I am sure this will influence so many people to transact etherium more than they transact Bitcoin. This is because there are so many people who are active on Twitter and some use it to learn about cryptocurrencies and choose the best one for them to transact.

Ethereum use case no doubt is already ahead of bitcoin when it comes to blockchain activities, Twitter also support bitcoin significantly especially promoting but for the fact that ethereum blockchain is more active, it imperative for Twitter to support them.

Ethereum is kinda bad now. Not because of the coin itself, but because the network the coin is using, the ERC20 network, has insane transfer fee. Imagine paying 60 USD to transfer 10 usd worth of USDT through that network. I still remember how btc used to be more expensive but now ERC has become worse than btc.

ERC 20 network has never been friendly that is why people now sought for other network like PLC and polygon network it comes with lower transaction fee and the transaction speed is also very high. The moment you mentioned it ethereum people's mind flash to transaction fee.

Well, from my point of view, this could be a determinant move for Ethereum. But anyway I am almost sure that although Ethereum can earn a lot of points, it will hardly could overcome the milestone Bitcoin, in the near future.
Only time will tell ...

I wonder why Twitter would opt for Ethereum with its crazy fees when Bitcoin is way better in that area. Anyways, I steer clear of Ethereum transactions except those within the exchange and if eth must be used, then the receiver must be ready to bear the fees which is a discouragement in itself.
