I remember MrB once mentioned posting payment proofs on BMF is considered as good posts here, hence I always try to upload my payment proofs once I've got any. Not only it's a way to help me gain referrals, it also helps to tell others the site is still paying.
Some sites might pay at the beginning, but after some time, it stops paying. I always check the dates of the recent payment proofs before I consider joining a site, but not rely on the first few payment proofs only. Actually a site can close down anytime, even though it has been paying for quite some time, so I always consider myself lucky every time I receive a payment. :)

gaining referrals here, it's like making shit in your own garden - you
don't get credits for it, which can be withdraw and you are making yourself a competition. this is stupid.
most users already feel how much effort takes to catch a stream
with so many people online.

there is nothing to do with attracting more members (i don't need referrals, as u can see i didn't post my referral link)....If u know when to check and of course have a good internet connection (very important), u don't have any problem in viewing those streamers...I check every hour on .45 and then .00 (u should do that too). I hope u understand what i was trying to say.

Tried to submit a withdrawal request after finally clawing my way to $20. but got this message.

"After Running A Credit Verification We Noticed You've Unfollowed Some Users. These Credits Have Been Returned To The Users You Unfollowed."

I don't recall ever unfollowing everyone, especially as I only use twitch for the purposes of twitchfollowers. Anyway, it's removed around $0.80 from my account. Great.
