TWIG is a lockscreen app that was launched in 2015. You can earn from this app by browsing websites, watching videos, downloading new apps and completing tasks or missions. You may be able to redeem e-vouchers or cash out through Paypal.

Check them out here

This is a lockscreen app where we get paid when we swipe to unlock our mobile phone. Besides this, we can also earn points by:
  • daily login
  • browse websites (up to 3 websites per day)
  • complete offers
There are many ways to redeem the twig points, including e-vouchers and PayPal.
Minimum redemption for PayPal: 37000 points (RM30)

Note: I have no idea if this app is available for all countries. You might need to check it out at Google Play.

If you are interested, you can click here: Twig website or Twig in the Google Play

Enter this code to earn 1300 points after signing up: 2DZ2H

Ah I just tried to join but it is incompatible with all my devices so obviously not available to my country. I like lockscreen apps though and sometimes if they have a facebook page I will ask them if they will be extending their service to other countries. A couple of sites have said they will so maybe one day. :)

Personally, I love the idea of lock screen apps. It's an excellent way for advertising a service. And for the customer, it's an easy way to browse ads throughout the day, while earning some change.

Unfortunately, none of the lock screen apps I've used over the years have ever had a legit payout. So I tend to stay away from these nowadays. But I guess I'll give Twig a try.

IT's legit and availabe in my country. To me, the pay rate is a bit low, inimum redemption for PayPal: 37000 points (RM30), thus I quit after first cash out met few months ago.

This app has closed down their operation on 11 August 2017 as they have been acquired by another organization. It's said there will be improved product soon, but I haven't see any news yet. I have accumulated many points but didn't get to cash out.

Hmmm Positive posts about the app, I'll read the reviews and then decide to join or to wait.

This app has closed down on 11 August 2017. I am not sure if they will continue to operate the same or a new program soon, but at the moment, I don't think you can join the site.

I think this only happened to Malaysia app, right?
Hope the rest will still working.
I think Malaysian apps can survive long, thus I decided not to join.

I am not sure. Does this app have different version in other countries as well? I thought it's an app developed by a Malaysian company, and it's just one app. I am now quite tired of joining this kind of reward apps, since I have spent much time on a few but didn't get paid. :p

So true, thus I prefer to join those international sites rather than local one, as Malaysia is too small in term of market or population size. :p

I think they sell the company to someone else, and there is no way to join at the moment. I just find this on their webpage: :

We're winding down soon

Twig was recently acquired by another leading global organisation with proven success in creating value for customers.

This means we will soon be closing down our current operations on Friday, 11 August, 11:59pm Malaysian time. From today until the date of the shutdown, we will no longer accept new downloads but we will allow existing users to redeem their points.

Stay tuned for news on a new & improved product bringing you even more value!

We would like to thank all of you for your support and we appreciate you being a part of our journey.

As per I read above comments, this means the App is different for different region, I'll check if it is available in my Country which is high in population as well, yet there too I have to know if App is working.

This app is not working on my phone. It is incompatible so there is no means for me to earn from this. As those who are earning from the app maybe they can post a proof of payment.

I did receive and redeem for once last year but I didn't work on it after that as it was slow earner and took up some of my hand phone memory space.

This means maybe the app was paying once, but stopped paying now. Or there might be some bug problem which is not making it work properly.

No, it stopped paying because it has acquired by another company. I am not sure if the new company will continue with the rewarding app. I have been using the app until it closed down in August.

Then it was different reason, myLot also stopped payin in 2015 when it's management was changed, but after old management returned in 2016, it started paying again. Maybe that will return.

Yes, I read that they handled the redemption before they closed down too. I do hope they will return and hopefully my points will stay too since I have many points but not enough to cash out with PayPal. :p
