Transcriptionpuppy pays proofreaders as much as $5.4 per audio hour + $1.2 / audio hour bonus for multiple files that needs to be merged together. This was my very first legit work experience online. One thing I like most from this company is that the transcriptions to be proofread are not assigned. Proofreaders have the freedom to pick the transcriptions they wanted to edit whenever they are free.

As a proofreader, my job is just to listen to the audio and check the accuracy of transcription submitted by the transcribers and correct any mistakes. It is a very easy legit work. They have the technology to detect frauds such as letting the audio play by itself without editing the work and submitting the file without listening until the end of the audio. The consequence is immediate termination of the contract. Thus, one has to read and abide by the rules. I have earned $64.02 within three months from my spare time.

$64 in 3 months seems like slow earning to me but slow earning is better than no earning at all.Do you have a check or PayPal payment proof to post in this thread.

I think no. Try to check their site. I was hired at Upwork. I did not take any tests. I think they check the profile. I was just given access to the files.

Payment was scheduled every end of the month. No threshold. The files were always available at the site. You can pick any of the files you wanted.

Just basic English. After all you just need to listen whether the transcription was accurate and matches what you hear from the audio. If the audio is unclear due to noise, you just need to note that it is inaudible. Welcome!

O, they have a facebook group? I didn't know that. Yes. It's legit coz i got paid. But the process is not that easy.

For my proofreader application, my application got rejected. They would not tell me why say they don't disclose their hiring practice. However my friend got hired. I think they look at your profile. I have only had 3 upwork rating, 2 -5 star, and 1 4 star. However only 1 is in transcription field. My friend got 20+ ratings in transcription field and all 4.5 star+. So I think it has to do with your previous experience in transcription as they do not do tests. But I heard from if there is any customer complaint in the first a few months on the work you submit, you will get instantly terminated. They are very very strict.

This is a TOTAL FRAUDULENT company under Evolution Worldwide Limited, they say they are from Miami Florida but actually they are located in China. They hire a lot of transcriptionists with all so promising pay. But when you got to work, all your work effort wouldn't pay off. Its' either they'll going to kill you in their inconsistent quota or got terminated with their star ratings which is based by their incompetent proofreaders!!!!

You get $10 a day ONLY IF YOU COMPLETE the 40 MINUTE AUDIO!!!! but that's not it, sometimes 50 minutes a day! it's very inconsistent, it depends on to their master jay teng on how good his day is.

And also, you need to battle a 3.2 star rating! Well good luck to you, if your finished work was got by a proofreader who doesn't really know how to proofread well. They'll give you a 1 star rating, but when you compare it to text compare dot com and still get a 97% result to the transcribed and proofread., they wouldn't are at all, even if you get to appeal a thousand times!!! imagine you'll work with a 22 minute audio that would take you atleast 10 hours a day!!!!!!! FRAUD, A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! don't waste your time, there are a lot of good sites to be with.

I worked with them just this year, too and it's true! I thought it was just me but their work quota for transcribers is very impractical. I worked on 40min audio only to receive 2hr credit AS IF YOU ONLY REALLY TRANSCRIBE 40MIN AUDIO FOR 2HRS!! THEN THEY EXPECT 99% ACCURACY?!?! They are impossible! Their proofreaders are incompetent, too! I was once corrected by a proofreader telling me I "missed spelled" words. Imagine a proofreader who MISSPELLS the word MISSPELLED? and your work is checked by them? No, thank you.

I also had a similar experience when I received 2-star rating but when I compared my work to the final output, only a few corrections were made. I appealed and they revised only to 3-stars without even receiving any explanation from anyone why my work is still considered average!

Terrible experience. You'll only be an overworked and underpaid transcriber with them, just go work with someone else.

I latar discover that the firm do open their website for new registration bi-monthly but I never fine out from the website owner but just a romoure from a friend.

Those rates of payment ore the lowest I've ever seen for proofing. HORRIBLE!! This job sucks.

I see. But this sounds like some sort of audio editor, I suppose.
But please, for me a fundamental question: This spoken language, for mistakes to be corrected, is it only in English, or possibly also in Italian?
