I just got an email from TopBuzz, never heard of it before and I've done some research about it.

Seems like this company is quite similar to YouTube, you get paid to upload your viral videos and articles, news, gifs.

They have over 5 million installations as per Gooplay play store. Seems they are pretty popular, but we are the only ones that never heard of.

I also ready the earnings are pretty low compared to YouTube and the spam is at its peak, you know the spam on YouTube, on TopBuzz it's worst.

What's your opinion about this program? Can they really compete with YouTube?

As of November 2017, TopBuzz boasts over 18 MILLION monthly active users, with key presence in North America, Brazil and Japan, and our user base continues to grow steadily.

No one I know in Japan knows about this company (me included).

But if it has so many deals with big names, then it's probably legit and not trying to scam. I like that it's reaching out to users and the admin seems to geniunely want to expand their site. I don't create video content, but I like the looks of this site and where it's heading. Maybe I'll go check the site out as a viewer.

I watched a part of Mr. B's video and it's crazy that they are trying to acquire Reddit... if they work out a deal, this site could have potential to break into the Western market and become the next big thing. We'll just have to wait and see.
