What I know is about digital marketing agency.
Its provide services such as creating website, websites content, social media, SEO, etc for a Company or business that cant do all of that on their own.
All of their services purpose is to attract new clients that match with the company or business.
The unique one is market research, not only attract new clients market research can provide a successfull sales and generate good revenue.
For example people who bought a laptop on website store will be showed some related product with the one he bought when doing checkout, it will increase the probability that the customer will buy again on the store.

That means a successful company should have all that meets the clients need.
Store, payment processors, merchant, buyers, loans, etc.
All is related and generate revenue.
