Three Arrows Capital Ltd bought more than $660 million worth of ether (ETH) in the three weeks since billionaire founder and chief executive officer Su Zhu announced he was quitting ethereum.

In total, the Singapore-based hedge fund purchased around 156,000 ether, as crypto markets crashed the weekend of Dec. 4-5, according to a series of transactions flagged by blockchain analytics firm Nansen.

Nansen noted the transfer of huge blocks of ETH – including one that moved 77,477 ether in two hours – from Binance, Coinbase and FTX to a wallet it marked as belonging to Three Arrows Capital.

Just when other whales were complaining about ETH gas fees,some do not find this to be a problem at all.Some companies do not care about the gas fees,what matters to them is a favourable discount price to buy.With these kinds of volumes invested in ethereum,it will sure might compete with bitcoin in terms of high market cap,if it were not for their high gas fees limiting small investors ETH should be near bitcoin in market cap

Well, we can see that the cryptocurrency investments are indeed risky and I am thinking that since the market conditions are harsh for traders, what would be the conditions of the Ethereum that were purchased by the Three Arrows Capital? I reckon that they might have liquidated their Ethereum before the recent crash took place, but I have not read any news about i yet.

I think this year the price have really dropped and the price shows they invested last year , when the price has not dropped lower to this extent ,and with the way it's looking it seems as tho ,they actually bought in a wrong position and this is having effect on the price

I believe that this year's prices have significantly decreased and that this is evidence that investors made their purchases last year, when the price had not fallen as far. Additionally, given the current state of affairs, it appears that they may have made their purchases at an improper time, which has affected the price.
