Do you know about the Thodex scam? If not then I will tell you all.

Thodex is a Istanbul based popular Crypto Exchange platform. But suddenly the crypto platform sends a message to all it's user that it will shut down for 5 days for a maintenance break, but it is the starting of scam. In reality it's founder Faruk Fatih Ozer froze all the accounts and grab all the money about $2 billion dollars and flew away from the country.

I want to what you think about the scam, and are you ever lost your money by any crypto scam?

Is he seeking asylum somewhere? Even at that, he could still be fished out from whatever hole he may be hiding. This is an unfortunate development for the users.

He would still be caught and would be sentenced , because he cant walk freely just like that ,there would be tracker everywhere to catch him, but this should be a lesson to many

This is the main reason crypto currencies are being banned everywhere. Not only are the citizens getting scammed, but the government is getting robbed too.

A lesson that not all exchanges are to be trusted and traded on. It is unfortunate that the statistics are not good where exchanges are concerned. A huge percentage of them end up shutting down in just one year of being operational, added to that is those whose original intentions were to scam in the first place.

I cant even trust any exchange platform with even original intention ,because i am sure thar there are many with bad intention after some days or month of having positive reviews , i will do my personal research continously on the exchange platform

Continuous research is a good one because you are so right about motives behind a business suddenly changing when everyone has gotten relaxed and trusting.
