Security researchers have found a new malware called KryptoCibule that has the potential to use your PC for mining and can also steal all your crypto from a particular wallet. Not only that, but it also can change the wallet's address resulting in the incoming crypto going to the hacker's wallet instead. Currently, this malware can be found in torrent files and if installed, it can be a great threat to your PC and crypto in general. So be careful guys!

Thanks friend, I guess the hackers and scammers are shifting base from hacking to the use of malware to steal Crypto currency, we just need to be careful of the files we download and install in our system.

hmmm seems like hackers are improving and are getting more fatal with the viruses they are developing, I guess most of the would-be victims here are the ones who usually downloads pirate stuffs from torrent

These attack or hack remains my greatest concern when it comes to digital coins because the more the developers and exchange platform improve on their security the more they devise means to crack it.

You are right! These hackers are getting more skilled by the day with no secured platform beyond them and it is really becoming scary. We share the same concerns.

Thanks for this privileged information. I want to believe that its not only in torrent files that this wallet exist. We need to be very careful while navigating online these days. Hackers are all over the places and it will be so unfortunate if all what has been labored for years just got vanished within seconds.

Thanks for this all we need is to be more careful because most of those shortlinks been clicked can also send malware and others that could cause problem

If for network is been used for communications by krytocibule there is every possibility that this browser called tor browser may have this malware installed already.

Nope, at least my Tor browser is clean. You have to download it from official source:

https://www.torproject.org/download/

Never ever download it from some software download site, like softonic, filehippo, etc. or through torrent sites, or google play repository.

Thanks for this update, I had once downloaded it from playstore before I changed the device to the my current one. I think Google play store need to embark on verification to avoid malware .

Yeah google playstore might be doing their own part to stop those issues , only those apps do change after its been reviewed by google play store

I don't understand what you mean by the fact that the apps change later or do you mean they are deleted when google discovered their scam apps.

This malware discoveries will be bring bad market for short link sites because people will scared to use their services to prevent hacking into their sites or devices.

This is far better especially for those links that claimed to reward unimaginable amount of money for doing nothing they are potential malware.

I have been thinking about this too, since Bitcoin is skyrocketing and people are making money out of it and hackers will try to utilize this opportunity too so just like what the OP said we should be careful in opening some files.
