There is a site, similar to PostLoop called TheForumWheel, which will pay you to post threads and replies to threads in third-party forums.

For content creators: You can sign up at the Forum Wheel, but you must post 10 grammatically-sound, well-formed posts in their "Gateway" forum before you can start posting in third-party forums and earning money.

Each post you make on a third party forum is worth 1 credit ($.05). You can withdraw your funds at any time via Paypal. You can also enter competitions to win a jackpot prize by spending the credits you earn on tickets in the prize draw ( although this is not often used by creators).

For forum owners: You can sign up and buy a set amount of credits which can be used to pay content creators for their threads or replies.

There are fewer forums currently available on TFW than are available on Postloop, but they always seem to be in credit, and there is one forum on TFW that pays twice, once from TFW and once from the forum itself!

I've never heard of it but will definitely give it a try. I really like that you can enter competitions and might be able to win something. That sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks so much for the recommendation and I'll see if I get approved. I will sign up under your referral OP.

I am still trying to get approved - just finished my first ten posts Friday - crosses fingers - I might also use it to promote my own forum - but I use Postloop to promote and if someone is signed up in both places, then I'm paying them double, which would suck lol.

I saw name removed (a gaming forum) was an active user of forum wheel, and I love that web site and have been a member of their forum for years, though admittedly, mostly a lurker more so than a poster.

I also love that forum wheel forces it's users to give thoughtful comments when rating their members to help them improve.

I signed up with ForumWheel right when they first came out, or shortly after. I got approved with a pretty good rating very quickly, and was active for a while. I liked that their payout didn't have a minimum, so I was able to test and see if I would get paid in a timely manner, which I was. The reason I kind forgot about it is that there were never many sites available to begin with, and rarely more than 2-3 that I had any knowledge about at all and could use. Sites were coming and going so fast it was difficult to keep up because I would have to register for new ones so often, and then they would be gone.

Now that I'm being reminded of it, I will probably check back and see if there is any potential to earn. If I can continue with the same sites for a while at least, so I can actually contribute something, not just register, post a few times and that's it, I will get back into it. I don't like high turnover rate, very discouraging.

I've used them in the past, it was over a year or so ago, back around the time that they first launched. Overall I was pleased with my experience - they're probably the closest thing to Postloop out there right now. From what I recall, the pay was comparable, if not a little better than Postloop. They were also reliable and timely in getting your payments to you. The standards for posting were a bit higher though - so if you were making short, vapid posts, and/or didn't speak English particularly well, you probably won't make any money on there or get approved.

The main reason I haven't been back there in such a long time though is that each time I had checked in on them, they hardly had any forums to post to. Some of them do have higher daily posting limits, such as 20 posts, vs. just 5 on most PL sites. But they really need to get more sites on board with them otherwise it's going to take forever to get a decent payout from them just posting on one or two sites a day.

Any of the other paid to post forum sites were not as automated, so you had to manually submit a spreadsheet of your posts and wait longer to get them approved for payment. Some of the other pay to post on forum sites were also inconsistently strict about who they approved. I got rejected from one of them after writing several perfectly fine, articulate posts in proper English - with no explanation as to what they didn't like about them. Other sites sometimes don't even respond back to your applications - making me wonder if they are even functioning anymore.

It looks nice. I will sign up with your link. In my opinion, Postloop and other similar sites are the best way to make money online. They pay way better than those websites in which you earn pennies. There is another website called ContenVania that seems to follow the same strategy of paying for posts. I haven't seen any review posted here, so I will sign up and tell you what it is like.

I don't know how well they pay when compared to postloop but in my opinion, they have stronger eligibility rules when compared to it's rival sites.

The one thing I love about TFW is that they give you everything you need to understand how to create an effective and well-written post for writers. All you have to do is be willing to learn. I have been with TFW for a while now and have made some good money. I also like that there is no minimum payout. I can pay out at a $1.00 if I want to. The pay is very quick also. I believe the owner processes payments twice day, don't take my word on that because I am not 100% sure.

Interesting, I'm going to check that out. I'll fill out a more detailed post here, at some point. Just waiting for the activation mail now. Always happy to try something new!

I'll have to check this one out. I've had fun using PostLoop, so this one sounds really like something I'll be interested in. Do you find enough forums that you find interesting?

To get approved, you need to have a strong base of 'English Grammer'. They are very strict about the grammar and they don't approve peoples with weak grammar base. So, I would recommend you to take a course of advanced English grammar. By the way, you can try an alternative of this site known as 'Postloop'. :)

Just to clarify, if you are not accepted by ForumWheel you will almost certainly not be accepted by Postloop. Postloop has a higher entrance requirement that ForumWheel. Your rating must also be above the website average in Postloop to be approved for payment and to post in the forums. The same restrictions do not apply for ForumWheel.

I would suggest applying for ForumWheel first and then if you are accepted and have built up a rating you can attempt to apply for Postloop.

ForumWheel sounds like a good site, especially considering that there's no threshold for payments. I think I'll give it a try soon :)

Well I have to say that it sounds intriguing, and I am like most of the other users here who are always interested in opportunities like this. From what I have read above there are some mixed reviews though, so I might have to just register and try it out for myself. I am hoping for another good site, but I would not be dissappointed in yet another time waster.

I belong to the ForumWheel, but I stopped posting there because there were only a few forums on there. I should look and see if it is has changed. I would like to be able to post on there if it is still a possibility. I will take a look at it again. I am always trying to make a buck!

I watched it before joining.. but the one thing I noticed was how fast forums disappeared, which means to make any money you would constantly have to be signing up for new forums. I am not sure what the TFW can do to fix that, maybe require a higher initial balance?

Not to compare unfairly, but one of the things I like about postloop is that there are 3 forums that I have belonged to for a year. Time spent searching for new forums to join, and time spent registering for a site should factor into it when you consider how much you are earning.

I have joined forum not for earning money, it is just a bonus to me. My main objective is to hone my skills in written English particularly the grammar and sentence construction. My office job requires me to do business writing particularly reports of what's happening in my department. Now with the earnings site, I was thrilled to know about it so I immediately joined and fortunately, I was not scammed like my husband who was kind of frustrated to work on a site for 4 months and didn't get paid. Sites that pay for posting is really good since it is an opportunity for people to earn clean money although the earnings is not much.

I have the exact opposite experience. I was accepted on both and I did the exact same thing but got a much higher rating on PL than TFW (I think I already wrote this anywhere), so that's not always the case. I think you should apply to both and see what happens, you can be surprised ;)

Sounds interesting. I didn't realize Postloop had a real competitor. Although I'm a big fan of Postloop, so I won't be changing.

However, does anyone else think it's weird that these sites want you to write books for posts? Sure, they want you to have good grammar and English, that's a given, but other than that they seem to push quantity over quality. It's as though they want you to write a whole bunch, and it doesn't matter if it results in the most boring post in the world, as long as it's long. Then they give you a good rating.

This isn't really how posting works in the unpaid world. It's about having a conversation and getting something out of it, not just droning on and on. Brevity really isn't such a bad thing. In fact, other posters are more likely to read shorter posts and skip over longer ones. I just don't think they should be so quick to dismiss the succinct posts.

Chapter Two
And another thing... Oh, wait, this is getting long. Never mind.

The End

I have tried the Forum wheel, but I am at a dead end with it. I got a 3.5 rating from it compared 4.2 on Postloop. The 3.5 rating does not qualify me for any forum on the Forum Wheel and it seems I will get the chance to improve my ratings so I will have to give up on it.

I just received my rating for TFW and it is exactly the same (4.1) as for postloop. So I just proved my own theory incorrect. I posted vastly different content in both gateways so I was very surprised to get the same rating

Exactly what happened to me.

There was someone arguing somewhere (reddit maybe or even here? I don't remember) that they probably make those evaluations using automatic programs? I don't know how it works but could be an explanation for the difference. Either way, I'm glad to know that you had a nice rating on both ;)
