In a recent article that has been released it seems that the United States securities and exchange commission has laid charges against three people who were responsible for the promoting of the Steven Seagal cryptocurrency that was actually called Bitcoiin2Gen.

This coin was initially offered to people in the start of the 2018 year. Yesterday the United States securities and exchange commission announced that they will be taking legal action against three of the individuals that were the founders of this coin. It is said that these found is actually scammed people out of over 11 million dollars from an unregistered securities offering.

If they indeed refused to follow due process before getting investors' funds, then, they really have to face the music. Not all coins are worth the investment.
Yes, there are many coins that are being developed that are not following the correct procedures for their coin and with the recently clamp down on crypto this has been a major concern that has resulted din a lot of lawsuits. I think that the reason that procedures aren't followed may be due to the ambiguous regulations surrounding crypto.

Unfortunately, many unscrupulous people are capitalizing on the loop holes in the regulations and scamming innocent people of hard earned money.

This is true Because of the lack of accountability that cryptocurrencies able to offer to people. Because of this anonymity which many people actually appreciate with cryptocurrency, they are those that are using it to take advantage and to develop websites that are not reliable and as such will some people especially the ones that are just entering the cryptocurrency field and do not have the necessary knowledge to stay away from such sites.

This is really too much , i just hope those individual are caught and prosecuted atleast to a huge extent because the amount of fraud is way too much i think

If SEC is targeting people who do this kind of scam then everything is good.. scammers will have something to be scared to. Every scammer deserves a jail time

I hate scamming of any kind so if they are found guilty, ofcourse, they should be given due punishment to deter others from doing same. So I'm all for SEC movement

A lot of the investors money gone just like that, scam in crypto is common but I like the fact SEC is keeping a tight leash on all such activities

Since they are on the issue currently ,i think it would be resolved and it would create fear on those scammer that already have same agenda i think

I think it's a good thing they are doing but I doubt the hackers are afraid, to some hackers it's fun but I hope they are brought to Justice and the practice curbed

Exactly they could get fun elsewhere, also the exchanges should increase their security and do updates regularly so as not to be victims again

Am very sure they will do that after this kind of incident have occurred ,and they should be more careful so it won't happen again

Those guys are still innocent until proven by court of law, but if found guilty they should be jailed and there assets forfeit and sold to pay those scammed.

Innocent until proven guilty, that's a good way to go about things, there are due process to be followed. Security should be upgraded for one so as not to happen again
