The richest man in the world says that he will not refuse payments in Bitcoin.

The owner of the companies Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk says that he prefers to receive payments in Bitcoin, this information comes in response to a tweet from Ben Mezrich, writer of Bitcoin Billionaires, saying "I will never refuse a payment in Bitcoin again", Elon Musk He replied, "Me neither."
Elon Musk generated a lot of speculation by asking the CEO of Microstrategy if it would be possible to convert billions of dollars from Tesla into Bitcoin.
Musk also stirred opinions by tweeting that the economy on Mars could be based on cryptocurrencies.
What do you think about Musk's support for cryptocurrencies?

I think the new investors are only buying to holdl. They can't indulge in cryptocurrency trading for now because they don't have the resources need.
From the end of December 2020 to the beginning of January, the main investors were small investors, the institutions had already made a profit and were on vacation, and despite that, Bitcoin rose in price. The institutions are investing in the long term, we have the example of Microstrategy, this company invested more than 400 million dollars in Bitcoin.

This is also the biggest proof of the success of the bitcoin Surely, day by day, it is becoming more popular around the world. It is a positive sign in the growth of cryptocurrency.

When there are these types of statements on social networks, it is that there is a goal and it is because they are also convinced of the ability of Bitcoin to make them earn money. Lately there are many declarations of figures of the ecosystem.

Grayscale acquired more Bitcoin in this January ,and are even ready to buy more . The top companies are the major reason behind the present rise in bitcoin price .

Of that there is no doubt, the rise of Bitcoin is mainly due to the great publicity that has been made to the purchase of large amounts of this cryptocurrency by various institutions

Why wouldn't he hesitate to accept payment in Bitcoin, because he has seen how Bitcoin is making waves in the financial market and how institutions has began to accept Bitcoin payment.

Large companies that purchase Bitcoin drive up the confidence that people have in the coin as these public companies are making a large investment and for the common public this is seen as a sign of potential future growth. Therefore, to a large extent growth is controlled by public figures and their interest in a commodity as well. Look at how dogecoin increased after Elon Musk tweeted about it.

He has no choice because the whole world is embracing Bitcoin now. But musk had always been a lover of btc and crypto as a whole. So I'm not surprise at all

To them that have more, more will be given, Elon Musk asking whether he can convert billions of dollars into bitcoin is to me a big joke, because he should know better how money can make the impossible become reality.

A business man will always want his fund to be growing and won't say no from receiving payment via Bitcoin as it is not only about receiving bitcoin but will serve as an investment as the price of Bitcoin keeps going higher.
I love the anonymousity of it with no traceable transaction.

That's pretty impressive response from Musk. He accepted that cryptocurrencies are the future, and surely bitcoin will be rushing again for recording a new all time high.

Bitcoin is not good for making micropayments, transactions through the network are very expensive, it is only good as a safeguard of value, many institutions are using it as a hedge to protect against inflation
Yeah i know its not good for making micro payment due to the transaction fee amount , but i would like to know more on how institution are making use of bitcoin to protect against inflation

That's what's awesome about Elon musk. I know he knows what's going to be the effect of him making that statement. I wonder how much he invested to the coin?

Well, I think this is exactly what a newbie should do so they do not know the basic about trading until then buying and holding for long term is better

Yes there is always a challenged that people sometimes do think that bitcoin is not safe because they think anything from the internet is a scam so if the world rechiest person open the way it will give every one the hope to do with bitcoin.

Neither would I, everyone probably wouldn't refuse nowadays considering the progress Bitcoin as made, it's volatility is a good thing too
Yes the volatility allows for you to do day trading with Bitcoin if you have a sufficient value, and you can make quite a decent profit if you do so. I think that the only concern that i have with bitcoin payments is the high transaction fees that are associated with them.

True those fees can be high sometimes, but Bitcoin fees are not as high as the gas fees of ethereum so I guess Bitcoin is still doing okay

If I am not mistaken I was looking at making a transaction with either bitcoin or ethereum a couple of days back and saw that Bitcoin transaction fees on average were a couple dollars more than the transaction fees of ethererum.
