Following the surge in the price of dogecoin , The Oakland Athletics , a baseball club announced on Monday , 3rd May 2021 that it will henceforth sell their tickets for 100 dogecoin.

This Indeed affected the price and demand for dogecoin. Many investors are buying dogecoin without waiting for a dip .

Dogecoin might be the next bitcoin or ethereum considering how people are buying the coin and holding it , so it good dogecoin is accepted as payment for some company considering the low transaction fee

I believe people move with the market trend. Dogecoin has been trending for weeks and late investors will surely be the ones to lose in the end.

Indeed Dogecoin had a sudden upward spike starting from April 17th.
But sorry, does this mean that the tickets to go to the stadium of the baseball team "Oakland Athletics" must be paid in Dogecoin?
If so, should, however, being aware of the fact not all sports fans, dealing with cryptocurrencies! So would this detail also have been calculated?

While this is a good move that could propel dogecoin higher, but I'm not sure as to what is the percentage of the fanbase actually uses dogecoin , with this may or may not be that good of a move

I guess it is an option and not necessarily the only form of payment. A large percentage of people are still not into Cryptos and I doubt they would want to deny such people entry because they offered to pay in fiat.
