The most used one here in my country is Visual basic, what about yours ?

Mostly! It is usually java, javascript and php but the boom of python has changed the paradigm shift.Python is used mostly for data analysis and data science.Companies still use java because it is quite stable and also expensive to switch to other programming languages.

here they use visual basic for basic companies and economic calculations, it's more than capable for that and gets the job done easier for the programmers too

Visual basic is pretty much good but for security and speed companies go for java and javascript , for accessibilty and versatility they go for python.

C programming language family like C++ and C# and Java. Python starting to gain momentum here too but their userbase is still kinda limited.

oh nice, they use it here as well, same goes to html and css, but visual basic is the most used one as it's enough for making calculation apps

I know a lot of companies here employ computer programmers who possess skills in C++ and PHP but the use of python too is fast gaining momentum. But it's obvious that many people are knowledgeable about and using low level language like v-basic for many tasks but it's not demanded by employer like PHP and C++

V-basic isn't a low level language, but rather a language that is domain specific and has limited capabilities. For creating a basic standalone calculation tool,v-basic is good enough.

C++ ,JAVA , Python are one of the widely used programming languages in my country.
These languages are one of most crucial due to their wide scale use in technological instruments!

In Estonia traditional companies Java is being used for big commercial systems such as the e-services (tax and customs board, police etc.) and PHP for things such as news and auction sites. NodeJS is starting to gain momentum in the startup community though.

The most used programming language out of all programming languages is JavaScript and this is because of its numerous framework available as open source. You can use JavaScript for virtually everything, ranging from frontend to backend

I can say definitively that this particular programming language is the most used, however, I know for a fact that people use java, python and the likes here a lot.

In my region most of the sites based on JS. Most of the older versions of phones doesn't fully supported them. But now everyone having latest mobiles so It is easy to use and lot of advantages.

I believe that the most popular programming languages nowadays are javascript, php and python because all of them can be used in creating websites which is one of the most profitable branches in programming.

To begin with, covering all of the programming languages used in Russia is a bit challenging. But according to Google Trends, Javascript appears to be the most popular.

I do not work with a company that is so much concerned with use of technologies but if I am able to evaluate other companies that is around here I think JavaScript is the programming language that is more popular. I believe that this is because of the strong JavaScript community that can be found easily around here.
