That has been the question that mainly reverberates in the heads of those less well versed in the subject of cryptocurrency trading. The one who assures you that you must buy because the BTC will go up, is lying, the one who ensures that you wait because the BTC will go down because a correction is coming, is lying, for sure nobody knows what will happen to the price in the short term, what If it is certain, it is that the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise over time. If you want to be part of the profits, you must prepare yourself mentally to invest in the long term, therefore it is best to invest a certain amount of money at certain time intervals, if the BTC falls in price, buy, if the BTC rises in price, buys, so you can get an average in the bought price. You just have to wait, have strong hands not to sell.
What do you think about this strategy?
Would you buy BTC if it goes up in price?
Would you buy BTC if it drops in price?

I think the only problem i have with scalping is that most times the price of crypto currency could drop below what you are expecting and its not good for small investment , due to the low return
To operate in scalping you must do it with a clear trend, that is why you must see the chart at 1 day, then at 4 hours and see the trend and then from there make the decision to buy at a lower timeframe that can be at 15 minutes or 5 minutes.

I always purchase Bitcoin when its price is low and keep it for long term and then sell it ,whether i get 5% or 10% profit return. I repeat this cycle 3-4 times a month and it results in some profit.
Your investment is short time investment and thats profitable but sometimes short term investment causes panic sell and as a result loss some of your money, if you are experienced about this, you will be able to get only profit without loss but sadly of the the investors go for panic sell.

Bitcoin is definitely for long time investment as they are not much volatile so it will be better to invest when the price is lower as certainly after some days the price will increase. But in terms of altcoins, it varies a lot.
I agree that Bitcoin is an excellent long-term investment, but I differ in your opinion when you say that it is not very volatile, this market is very dynamic, which makes it volatile and still manipulable, although much less than in the year 2017.
I have said it before that the predictions of so called experts is nothing but a calculated guess. No one can predict the future correctly, and even when it may seem that a prediction made by someone came true, it is just a coincidence and doesn't make that person an authority on the subject.
That is true, it is the same in trading, you are a successful trader when you are correct in 60% or more of the cases, that will allow you to be profitable in your operations

My sincere congratulations for that way of operating with Bitcoin, it must be so, I want to invest in the long term but I still don't have enough money to have strong hands and psychologically I still lack it, hahaha

Yeah definitely bitcoin is volatile but not like other small cryptocurrencies, due to huge number of investors in bitcoin, the price doesn't go for free falls or bull rush very frequently.

Well its good to actually add time to your study because this actually still gives you a clear understanding of when yoh are buying , i think your scandalous strategy is still okay

Yes, i totally agree with you . One time my coin price fell 20$, i thought its price will decrease more and i sold it but after that the price of the coin increased 30$ anf=d i cried like hell due to panic sell.
Exactly, this happens with most of the investors, this panic sell is the main reason of most free falls but bitcoin contains huge number of investors, so this doesn't affect bitcoin lot. Anyways don't go for panic sell and aware investors about it.

It's hard to overcome the temptation to sell, especially if one is new.

But that should be the long term strategy and that's the best way to profit from Bitcoin.

I decide when to sell my coins any time I am convinced to have made a significant gain in the Investment, I own my coin so I decide anytime.

Yes, Yesterday when i was crying about my loss , i saw that bitcoin price was low and i purchased some satoshis and at night 4 am , i sold them at 224 profit.
If you are patient and you know the right time to buy bitcoin or any coin you will hard loose from it but if you rush it you may loose all.

I think it's better to buy Bitcoin and hold for long term , for more than a year. Because it's clear Bitcoin is rising to a new high price almost every year. Maybe during 2022-2023 Bitcoin may worth almost $100,000.

if i had a decent budget to invest and able to lose, i would surely buy when the price drops, bitcoin is always surprising people when it comes to value and it won't be a big deal if i lose money

Now, it's very hard to predict the next move of bitcoin. It has been decreasing and it seems like it's going to bounce back to $20-35k. Investment in bitcoin now needs a lot of attention but I will prefer to buy bitcoin if it decreases and I'm going to hold them for a long term.

The decrease in price has not been that bad if we should compare the last three weeks major crash in the price of bitcoin, it is currently at $32,214 mark which is not bad.

Glad that you were able to earn some profit apart from te loss but the main reason of loosing is panic sell, the price of cryptocurrencies specially bitcoin will certainly recover soon or later. Buy if you are going for short time investment like trading, you need to be more careful and make sure you don't rush on investing or selling.

I feel it will still crash due to the panic it brought to investors. Some investors have no patience and they usually sold out cryptocurrencies unexpectedly if they feel like the market is crashing.

Many that has been involved in the trading or investing short time now knows that it may not go below $29k and I also believe that except there is negativity in the market .

But these days it is just suffering in the lower part of 30k dollars and maybe I fear it might still drop down the 29k dollars if a whale is trying to dump.

Your strategy does make sense I must confess, however, to someone not really used to btc investment, the temptation to sell at the slightest shift in the market would be almost impossible to overcome.
Well, we can't blame them, I do same because of the volatile nature of Bitcoin. It isn't a stable coin so no body really knows what will happen next in terms of price and value. But buying when the price is low is the best

Yes definitely, I am always purchasing small amounts of bitcoin evryday when the price is low and happily , i am able to sell it at least 60% profit.
Nice sir, investing for short time is sometimes more profitable than long time investment, but I think long time investment is safer than short time investment. So it totally depends on your skills.

Yeah, that is true and sometimes because of this I do convert some short term investment into long if and only if I am able to get my capital when I was trading it.
