The first programmer was a lady

No offense, but i really don't care about gender/race/color or what ever is listing humans. All living organisms have talents and abilities, that is different for everyone and labeling them for one achievement to all others same kind beings and visa verse is showing not correct thinking. It's like there is rich people, but why we are poorer than they, but we all have same balls size.

And every such pointless crap is stopping our faster/better evolving to better form :Cat:

yeah sure. we all love to hear about new information.
I will make sure I provide some facts like this one.I never thought I would gain so many replies on my thread and im quite satisfied with how people react about the information I provided.

It is true that the ladies speak a lot but they are not just mouth they are scammers , i am just kidding :Joyful:
the women's brain is unbelievable.

They are great in different fields, I also had one back then, she was my lecturer, a very good and brilliant professor. Though she was always kinda strict in her lectures but it was worth it anyway.
Those who are strict are the ones that have the best methods on how to put something in your head and make u understand what a certain thing is . One of my professors was really strict but he taught us so much ... Best professor ever :D

No offense to the ladies on the forum.. I recently discovered that the first programmer on earth was a female called Ada Lovelace. I wonder which programming languages and which computers they used to programm

Yes it was Ada Agusta, Countess of Lovelace actually. She created the first algorithm that is why she was also considered as the first programmer.

Wow! Nice one.
But how come the male are booming in the programming sector more than the female counterpart?
Programming is fun

It is maybe because large percentage of men likes mathematics compared to women. Programming is somewhat related to mathematics. Then many women have a notion that programming is very difficult to learn because it is more on computation that's why only few women are taking programming course compared to men.

Nope, I have no idea about this, I never checked.
It is notable, but nothing to be surprised about.
There are the numerous proofs that many male scientists claimed the findings that are later proven to be made by their female counterparts.
In later years these things are resurfacing and it becomes more and more obvious how the world was but still is gender biased in many things.
Even though it shouldn't.. I mean lately we are seeing many females doing male stuff which proves the fact that we are all equal. I don't personally judge by any means at least I try not to... I guess :D Im sure some inventions that already exist that are proven to be from men are actually by women..

such good information you provide for this thread, ada lovelace was the first programmer and a legendary woman I have ever heard before, her analytical ability was sharp to shine in programming field.

It's part of the discussion of the history of programming languages when you study computer science. Most people would just likely to know notable people like Bill Gates, Paul Allen, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Mark Zuckerberg, and others who made big contributions in the technology that we are using today.

oh I see now, thanks for the explanation to make me understand, those individuals are such legends. I didn't studied on computer science but I have interest to it.

This is nothing uncalled in my opinion. Underdeveloped countries do not appreciate women potential.
In my opinion it is more fair that women have the desk and 'brainy' jobs, because for once she has probably a lot of 'dancing' at home with kids ( it gets you tired in no time, try toddlers for a day...) plus it is more fair than all those cleaning jobs or jobs where you have to stand on feet all day long.
I don't say that women are not physically powerful, I know many men who are parasites, but it makes me feel much better to have that kind of a job balance than any other.
I mean working an office job or lets say other job like a plumber is really weird for a woman in undeveloped countries. They think only men are supposed to do such things . Families get ashamed of their members that do that because according to them they are ruining the reputation.. Its really weird though.
