Tokyo-based cryptocurrency exchange Liquid listed the Japanese Yen-indexed stablecoin GYEN and dollar-indexed ZUSD.
Starting March 1, Liquid will allow the Japanese Yen to be converted to GYEN. The instant conversion of two different currencies allows investors to distribute liquidity and risk.
What do you think about this development originating from Japan?

Japan has been a good supporter of Cryptocurrency since way before so launching their own Cryptocurrency which is link to their local currency is not surprising at all

Seems like a good move as cryptocurrency is on the rise lately, hopefully from this more people in japan would accept cryptocurrency as a medium of payment as majority of japan is still cash-based society

This is nice and a good development for the Japanese community. Cryptocurrencies have become quite global and I think it is good to be used to benefit economies.

This is the first of it's kind ,and one can not easily say whether it will be profitable for Japanese or not . It is something that will be very demanding generally .

I think I am yet to fully understand the utility of stable coins. This development though I guess is going to help traders and investors to digitally back their money in the Japanese Yen or American dollars.

This is too quick, the blockchain is not mentioned in this thread, so it is not clear. If the blockchain is Ethereum, then this is going to flop, due to high transaction fees, even other blockchains have to be compared. Stablecoin is good with no fees.

I think this is another development that will encourage more people to invest some funds into crypto currencies thus making the market more strong.

As i see it.. japan really loves technology and we know Blockchain and Cryptocurrency is also an advanced technology we have no surprise they like it

No it really isn't surprising since they are lovers of innovations and technology. So it a glaring evidence that they will indulge in crypto a lot better maybe even better than other countries

Well it happens by chance, that's because I disagree with the idea that the Japanese support the crypto currency, if you are talking about Japanese, then what about Chinese?

I think China has the highest hash rate in cryptocurrency , especially Bitcoin . Japan to an extent supports cryptocurrency investment but not to be compared to China

From statistics I saw last time, I think yep China currently holds the highest hash rate in mining. Japan is still quite new to supporting cryptocurrency, might still be long before they fully support its usage

My only joy is that more countries and institutions are going into cryptocurrency investment .this will help the crypto market to continue to grow stronger .

Good i love this development , but would this stable coin listed on crypto currency exchange site , so people can do their various conversion they want to do actually ..

It means that the country has embrace cryptocurrency and also created one of their own coin, this will make online transaction so easier. Other countries should follow Japanese foot step and stop this banning of a thing.

Every country have a different government ,so how expectations and their results difers that is the reason some government doesn't support crypto currency and some support it

First World governments are realizing that cryptocurrency is the future , so they are starting to jump on the train
While low tier countries as usual still ban the use of crypto and send people to jail for it !
