Hello guys , how are you all doing ?
if you are a business owner like me I guess the covid 19 problem has affected your business somehow

I just want to ask you guys how this pandemic affected your business ?
and what is the solutions that you are taking to save your business ?

For me :
I have a cash on delivery business so when this pandemic happened my business stopped totally because I don't have a car to deliver and also my city is quarantined so my solution for my business is I'm using a delivery compny that helps me to deliver my products to clients
yes the sells are low not like before the pandemic but I'm making those decision to not kill my brand

My business was affected because of the covid19 lockdown , my friend who had a cloth selling business could not make any more profit due to covid19
That's really unfortunate but the effect of covid is gradually getting thinner as time goes on, I hope you bounce back both of you and all those affected

I know it wont be easy but with hardwork and determination , we would definitely come back , we are putting things into place already?

Covid19 is still affecting some certain business despite the virus been fading off in some part of the country , like my uncle business have been affected and he has not open it yet due to lockdown

If all countries were getting benefits, it could help make things a little easier no doubt, I still think lots of government need to do more for their people

I think this is the case in lots of countries (the US and the UK for sure), cases are droping so people think it's over. But, and average of less than 10K a day is TERRIBLE! Sure, better than it was but still TERRIBLE!! People just see the drop, and relax and the rise is inevitable,
Well, yesterday's count was 59k plus. 2/3 states account for close to 80% of these.
So well, good days are looking even further away.
if more lockdowns follow that means even more economic disruptions.

Yes, the US is looking worse and worse day by day, and once things like the effect of Spring break are felt then I am sure you are right - good days are looking further away indeed.
I doubt however there will be further lockdowns - by now Americans (or a majority of them) seem to have made it clear that death is preferable to lockdowns!

Unfortunately, not all governments are able to provide such benefits to their citizens. In fact, most of them don't. So each individual has to fight for themselves even amidst the effects of the pandemic.

NO country has the resources to provide such benefits, the countries that are doing do are largely just borrowing the money. The US in particular has, now, a national debt that is just scary. Future generations may find themselves trying to pay it back!

That is true, most of those who give benefits do so with borrowed money. I did not know that even the US has a large debt. My country too is sufferring from huge loans hence people have to pay high taxes.

I am self-employed and the pandemic definitely took some adjusting. I ended up having to take on some side hustles instead of just focusing on one thing, which sometimes feels exhausting, but ultimately adapting to the situation has had some advantages.

The US has one of the largest, if not the largest national debts in the world (28 trillion dollars!)

A lot of blame can be placed with Trump who, when the economy was doing very well still managed to increase the debt by trillions. Now the economy is doing so badly even more needs to be borrowed.

My tailoring business had huge fall in customers patronizing my business ,but this still left me been optimistic that things would get better

I'm glad you are still optimistic and hope that you are right that things will get better (it seems the answer to how quickly it will get better depends on where you live).
Tailoring must be a very hard hit service - I would assume a lot of your business is formal clothing? With fewer people going to work, fewer weddings etc, there must be a huge fall in demand.

To make things worse there was lockdown , people had no option than to stay away from spending on new clothes , it made me lose many customers

Yes, that must be true, during the downturn almost everyone needed to spend less money - and clothes are an easy thing to cut down on (compared to food or rent or other things we have no choice), I know I spent less on clothes last year than normal.

We all saw and felt the effect of pandemic and it was not easy to survive but somehow we coped but the lessons of the pandemic cannot be easily forgotten.

The saddest thing is that most of the lessons probbaly will be forgotten, and forgotten quickly by many people. Humans generally are not great at learning lessons!

Many people had to do this. The economy went really down and it pushed people to look for better ways of earning money. The adjustment is stressful but really worth it.

Yes, where I live the world was broken very much into people working for large companies who still recieved the whole of their salary and those who didn't. The 2nd group (of which I am a part) started looking for any side-hussle they could.
In the end I think my life going forward may be better than it was before the virus, as I have decided to keep a number of my side-gigs going and (might!!) be richer than I was :)

At my workplace, due to the effect of covid 19, salary was slashed and some were asked to stop coming during the pandemic but it's better now post covid.

happy to hear that you receive your salary every month, so much people stopped receiving their salaries and entered in a big financials problems
Yes, you correct. There were many people that facing financial problem during the critical pandemic, some loose their work till now, it so difficult for some people to feed their mouth or their family.

Just like an ordinary days.
Only have to wear mask every time
Go to shop wear mask
Gi everywhere wear a mask..
Kind of annoying.. But its better rather then get covid... Hope you all can survive in this hardtimes...

Not Really though , from my experience in places near me people are still getting infected even though they wear masks all the time, you can still carry the virus into your home as the virus can stick unto you or your clothes which makes it hard also
