Telegram is delaying the launch of its own blockchain network the Telegram Open Network and decided to pay its investors back. They want to return at least 72% of the total investment to its investors. Telegram also made a $1.7 billion token sale in 2018 for its own crypto Grams which many speculate that it was launched illegally. I don't know why investors would spend such huge amounts of money into a project that will most likely fail.

But that's investors for you, they are risk takers and invest even in places that seems hopeless. Maybe telegram has envisage already and don't believe in the project any longer.

I didin't know that telegram has his own crypto currency I always asked myself hwo they get mone, and also isn't Twitter is the owner of telegram ?

If telegram had successfully launched their coin, if might be gaining popularity and increase in values also , their app is growing daily though most scammer uses it to decieve people through fake airdrops.

telegram is gaining negative views all over though because alot of scams are happening in their application, and all these scam mostly involve the cryptocurrency, this project of theirs will surely backfire

The fact that just about anyone can build a hot that works in all manner of ways is a potential problem that needs to be addressed.

Creativity should not be banned just because some people use it for doing crimes. A lot of hackers use softwares to aid them in their hacking effort, should we then ban all software because of that?
