According to the Swiss newspaper Handelszeitung, Carlos Lenz, an economist at the Swiss National Bank, has said that Blockchain technology is not a good way to develope the central bank's digital currencies. According to him, Blockchain-based decentralization features are not as effective for a government-controlled digital currency such as the digital franc. Lenz also stated that the Swiss central bank has no plans to develope the digital franc.

I think they are not yet ready to show transparency and security in their business less it would have been the best tool to be used.

This is fact,if you are knowledgeable and grounded on the digital currency space you will see that there is no interconnection between the block chain system and cbdc.

The blockchain have different purposes , even if it's decentralized it could still contribute in making the digital currency transaction faster than ever

It will take only a government that's ready to be transparent and ready to recuce its interference in the citizens choice of financial assets, the that will go for blockchain. Block chain makes it possible to do transaction without any trace and under no one control. Do we now think government will launch its digital currency using such a network that will tear off his power and authority.
